Feroze Khan Sends Legal Notice for Defamation to Top Celebrities [View List]

Top Pakistani actor Feroze Khan was accused of being a wife beater and abuser. Moreover, his ex-wife Syeda Aliza Sultan alleged that he would also put their children at risk at times.

Following her allegations, social media was divided into two, one group that continued to show their love and support for Khan and the other who supported his former wife.

Some of the supporters of Aliza Sultan have now been issued a legal notice of defamation from the actor. This also includes his former wife, who he says has a major hand in tarnishing his reputation.

Taking to Twitter, the Khaani actor shared, “Defamation legal notice has been served by my legal team to those for [sharing] false and baseless allegations.”

Feroze Khan’s lawyer has sent legal notices to a number of top actors as per the official documents. These include the following names:

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Khan’s lawyer, Faique Ali Jagirani, shared:

The artists that have been served have made several false claims on social media – directly or indirectly – about Feroze Khan We have sent defamation legal notices to Feroze Khan’s peers, giving them a chance to clarify their position on the accusations. Either bring forth proof to support your claim or apologise publicly.

Khan’s legal representative further shared:

In today’s age of social media, you can’t just get away with anything you feel like. We have taken the legal steps to ensure that justice is swift. We have all the evidence against the aforementioned actors about their part in a malicious campaign against Feroze Khan on social media.

The legal notice addresses the defendants for making “false and defamatory statements on social media against their client, Feroze Khan without any proof or evidence.”

The legal notice further read that the “baseless allegations were made for which no official FIR was launched, led to defamation and character assassination as a result of which my client is continuously suffering from the financial loss of approx Rs20 million and mental torture since September 21, 2022.”

While the named personalities have yet to issue a statement, Sarwat Gillani’s husband, Fahad Mirza took to social media to share his two cents. He wrote ‘I don’t like to get involved in nonsense, but @ferozekhan is really vengeful and stupid for adding the personal numbers of all these actors and making it public! After this knee-jerk response, he has really proven that he is a moron of the highest order and I am sure whatever his wife says about him, must be true!

We have yet to see how these other individuals will respond to this legal notice.

Pakistani singers Asim Azhar and Hasan Raheem have the entire country moving to their groovy music, however, recently both crooners called out the organizers of the Summerajam Colour Fest event on social media.

According to the singers, the organizers had allegedly failed to make payments, which is why they had to refuse to perform at the event. Moreover, the ‘Jo Tu Na Mila’ singer even pointed out that his team will be taking legal action against the team behind the event.

@Summerjam_Colourfest is a scam, and the organisers are frauds. Please get your refunds on all tickets and sponsorships. And PLEASE BEWARE OF ANY FUTURE EVENTS BY THEM.

 

Due to non payment, fraud and miscommitment from the organisers, we won’t be performing tonight in Islamabad.

Me and my management will be taking legal action against the organisers of this festival who have fooled the fans in buying tickets and getting sponsors by using our names and at the end not letting us perform due to non-payment. Everybody should get their refunds and the people responsible for this fraud must face concequences.

Regardless of everything, me and my team are sorry to all the fans who were looking forward to see us perfor. Hope we make it up to you next time.

‘Joona’ famed singer Hasan Raheem also had a similar story to share about the delay in payments leading to the regretful decision of not performing, whereas he also apologized to his fans and asked them to ensure their money gets refunded.

Really sad about the whole situation. I apalogise to all people who came out to have a good time tonight. We weren’t paid by the organisers on time. Kindly get your refunds from @Summerjam_Colourfest we’ll be taking legal action against them for wasting everyone’s time and money. And love all of you who came out tonight.

That’s not all, social media users who had personally attended the event themselves also mentioned their experience and demanded a refund.

One of the attendees shared that the sound quality was awful and that the performers who did turn up were horrible, excluding one or two. On the other hand, men and women were expected to share the same bathrooms, which were in terrible condition.

She goes on to say that despite mentioning the issues to the management, they allegedly replied saying that the public is responsible for the mess made in their loo. She even adds that only a few stalls were actually at the venue and were selling at very high prices.

Another attendee posted on the event’s social media page asking for a refund.

Reportedly, the organisers have deleted the official Instagram page for the event.

Hania Aamir Opens Up About Life After the ‘Asim Azhar Controversy’

In a recent interview, Hania Aamir, popular on social media and on the TV screens, opened up about her share of controversies, especially the biggest one involving her ‘alleged’ ex-boyfriend, Asim Azhar.

Aamir is known to be candid on her Instagram and other social media platforms. The duo has gained a lot of traction and popularity, however, Aamir never publically acknowledged that they were indeed a couple despite their appearances together.

Her denial handed them in hot waters after netizens severely criticised their relationship. Since the incident, the actress has been quite diplomatic when addressing questions about her past relationship with Azhar. When she was asked about the alleged breakup, she talked about how she had learnt that one should not share their relationship status online.

When new actors enter the industry, they are not really trained for fame or how to handle it, and so people learn via trial and error. I think this is something, you should never post your relationships on Instagram. You should never tell people who you are dating, what’s happening, that should be a no-go zone. Big crosses!

Hania also advised the viewers and her fan followers not to put their relationships on media because if things do not work out, it is nearly impossible to clarify about what went wrong. She even shared that people from the industry start weighing in on your life too, which makes things a tad bit more complicated.

Hania is currently on top of her game. The Titli actress is currently breaking TRP records with her blockbuster drama serial Mere Humsafar alongside Farhan Saeed. Aamir enjoys the position of one of the most followed Pakistani celebrities with a whopping 5.7 million followers on Instagram.

We are happy to see that she has taken control of the driver’s seat and steering her life just as how she wants to, moreover, we are happy to see that she has moved on from past controversies and is shining as bright as the star she is.

Asim Azhar & Fiance Mehrub Ali Release New Track ‘Chal Jaan De’ as Eidi for Fans

Pakistani pop-star Asim Azhar and his better-half-to-be Mehrub Ali have surprised their fans and supporters with a sweet eidi on the occasion of Eid al Adha 2022 titled ‘Chal Jaan De’.

The song is a fun and funky collab and will have you grooving to it in no time. The Punjabi track has been receiving major love from celebs as well – Crooner Aima Baig wrote ‘OMG I love this song’ while Mathira also shared some fire emojis because they LIT it up!

The ‘Jo Tu Na Mila’ singer took it to his Instagram account moments before he dropped the single to share that he has a ‘surprise’ which he will share at 10:30 sharp. He said:

“Hi everybody, as you know Eid is near and I haven’t arranged Eidi for my fans for a while now so I thought I should cover it up in one go. This time I’m bringing you guys two sets of Eidi. One is a surprise I’ll drop at 10:30 pm today, in about half an hour. For the second surprise, you’ll have to wait a bit, that’s bari [bigger] Eidi.”

Moreover, Talal Qureshi re-shared the song in his stories, writing that this was their first collaboration and also hinted that they have more tracks in the pipeline! Mehrub Ali also told the super-star that she is ‘super proud’ of him ‘always’.

Durdana Ansari OBE Becomes First Pakistani & Muslim Female in the World to Get Ranked as a Captain of the British Royal Navy

Durdana Ansari, OBE, has become the first Pakistani female and Muslim in the world to get receive rank as a Captain of the British Royal Navy. The Queen herself approved the rank.

The news was announced by Pakistani singer, Asim Azhar who addressed Ansari as Khala in a heartfelt tweet on the microblogging site. He wrote, “Today is a proud moment for not just me or my family but for the whole nation. Durdana Ansari OBE becomes the first Muslim & Pakistani female in the world to get ranked as a Captain of the British Royal Navy approved by the Queen, herself.”

He added, “I’m so proud of you, Khala jaan.”

Durdana was born in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. She moved to the capital of Pakistan and grew up there. She then moved to London, the UK, where she received her degree in media and journalism from Birkbeck University.

Ansari is a British entrepreneur, public speaker and activist for female empowerment. Formerly she was a charity director, presenter, journalist and producer at the BBC World Service. As a journalist, Ansari has interviewed politicians, Bollywood and Pakistani actors, artists, film directors, poets, Kashmir earthquake victims, and Afghan refugees.

In 2012, she received an order from the British Empire for creating an economic development program for Muslim women.

She also serves as a Brand Ambassador to the Swat Relief Initiative (SRI), to Mirpur University of Science & Technology (MUST), and as a trustee for ‘Quest for Education’ (QFE).

In 2018, she was appointed Hon Lt Cdr and in 2019 promoted to Hon Cdr Royal Navy.

Hania Aamir & Jannat Mirza Call Out Cyber Bullying as More Celebrities Jump on the Bandwagon

Over the weekend, Hania Aamir‘s video was heavily criticized by many on social media for being indecent. The video clip shows Hania showing affection towards Ashir Wajahat, who is heard calling her ‘baji’,

While the scenario started getting ugly, Hania’s ex-boyfriend Asim Azhar jumped into the narrative leaving a cryptic tweet that said, “Alhamdulilah.”  Azhar has maintained silence since his breakup with Hania Aamir, and now, he finally chose this moment to break his silence.

All hell broke loose, and Azhar started to trend on social media for his cryptic tweet.

That didn’t go down well with Aamir, who was already dealing with a lot of hate and misogyny online for the controversial video.

She said in a tweet, “You can either be a celebrity or a bitter ex with no dignity.”

The tweet was fire and so Asim had to reply to it.

All in all, things turned ugly. Aamir said she’s calling out Cyber Bullying because people need to understand that they can’t just say things online whenever they like – in the case of Azhar, while Aamir was already facing backlash.

Another instance is of Bushra Ansari leaving a comment on TikToker Jannat Mirza’s picture on Instagram. Ansari called the TikToker out for disrespecting religions. She said,

“Aik durfitty mun to Banta hay…in jahil stars par…afsoos…Islam ka Pata na kisi aur religion ka!!.”

The comment didn’t sit well with Mirza. She replied,

“THIS IS NOT OKAY AT ALL! Pls do not judge anyone before knowing anything, Amma jee  I respect you a lot, but you can’t defame anyone before knowing the facts! Islam ki baat aap kese krskti hain aunty :>3 aap koe tableegi jamaat nhi chala rahi. AAP bhi singing krti hein, dance krti hein, award shows pe dance performance aapne kiye lekin aaj dosron pe tanqeed waah? Aaj ehsaas huwa waqae aap k paas dil nhi hai. Me bs itna kahungi kisi par tanqeed krne se pehle apne girebaan me zrur jhaanklen. Kbhi kisi pe lanat or kbhi kisi ko baddua k Allah kre tu marjaye. This is not okay at all!!! Waqt nikaal ke pehle haqeeqat jaaniye phir tanqeed krlijyega . Allah khush rkhe aapko. Amma Jee.”

While these are just other tragic and ugly cross-overs on the internet we have witnessed today, it has become painfully frequent for celebrities to share cryptic tweets and bully each other online. For instance: when Nabila left a nasty message for Nadia that was shared publicly, or when Yasir Hussain felt the need to bully Nausheen Shah live on TV,
or when Umar Sayeed felt the need to leave an ugly response to a headline about Nausheen Shah and so many more.

Gossip columns thrive on such news after sensationalizing the headlines, but at what cost – someone’s mental health or someone’s confidence? It is high time celebrities learn to go back to old-school ways of resolving issues with other fraternity members.

Hadiqa Kiani, Asim Azhar Tweet In Favour of Students, Appeal to Shafqat Mehmood to Cancel CAIE Exams

Coronavirus has yet again stricken Pakistan and is causing chaos among students who were all set to give their CAIE’s this year. Since the cases have risen significantly, the students are demanding the authorities to cancel their exams. However, the authorities are standing tall with their decision and are scheduling exams as decided earlier.

In the midst of this unprecedented time, celebrities such as Asim Azhar and Haqida Kiani are favoring the students. They are appealing to Shafqat Mehmood to cancel the exams since we are in the middle of the pandemic.

Asim took it to the micro-blogging site, he said:

Students have really been disturbed due to the ongoing pandemic causing the institutes to close/open again & again. I personally know some students that haven’t been able to complete their syllabuses as well. Please kuch karain aur bacho ka saath dain. @Shafqat_Mahmood

He then added:

I understand your stress & pain guys. Agar abhi music nahi kar raha hota tou mai bhi ro raha hota exams ko leke iss waqt.. so I understand. And I am sure @Shafqat_Mahmood will stand with the youth & find the best solution possible, InshaAllah #ExamCancelHoga

Queen of pop, Hadiqa Kiani also tweeted on the matter. She said:

Please think of our children. We must find an alternative plan that doesn’t put them in danger. Note, I’m an advocate for education, I’ve received my MSc in Psych & I pray my son goes on & achieves a Ph.D. but this is just not the way. #ExamsCancelHoga @Shafqat_Mahmood #CIES

#ExamCancelHoga was top trending in Pakistan as students were demanding exams to be canceled. Headmistress Cambridge section of St. Joseph Convent School, Naseema Kapadia believes that students are banking on no exams, and that must be stopped.

Final Decision: Back to Books

In a press conference held today, Shafqat Mehmood announced that classes 1 to 8 would remain closed in the districts affected due to COVID-19 until April 28. Board exams for classes 9, 10, and 11 will be held from the 3rd week of May. CAIE exams will be held as per schedule. Classes from 9 to 12 will continue to occur as usual, with strict adherence to precautionary SOPs.
