Sarwat Gillani, Yasir Hussain & Others Call Out Feroze Khan for Leaking Their Private Numbers

Several celebrities have taken to social media to express their anger and lash out at Feroze Khan for sharing their private numbers online.

Earlier, Feroze Khan took to social media to announce that his lawyer has sent legal notices to 11 individuals, including his ex-wife for defamation.

However, when Khan posted images of the legal notice, he did not hide the private information of the celebs he named. Following this, the individuals started to receive a wave of calls and WhatsApp messages (some even harassed them and asked for work/money).

Yasir Hussain wrote on Instagram “A stupid man first hits his wife and then publicly shares our numbers online. Now, due to this, a child has been constantly messaging me to cast him in dramas, otherwise, he’s threatening me to give him Rs100,000,”

In his next Insta Story, Yasir Hussain shared a screenshot of the aforementioned threats with a message.

“This person has sent me his personal number, yet I won’t publicize it. Do you know why? Because I went to school and that should count for something. It should show that you are educated. Shame on you, stupid man,” Yasir wrote.

Yasir Hussain shared another screenshot, with a caption saying, went “Thankyou Feroze Khan, you have sent a Falak Shabir fan to me too! May God reward you for these actions. Can I also make your fans meet you too?”

Sarwat Gillani also shared her call log after the fiasco, calling Khan out for his actions. She wrote:

It is bizarre and despicable that private information, including phone numbers, of various famous individuals, has been publicly shared on the absurd pretext of issuing a legal notice to them by @ferozekhan Not only are such actions clearly illegal but also demonstrate the total lack of maturity to handle matters in a civilized way.

Two days ago @ferozekhan had one ex-wife and her lawyer now he will have to face 10 celebrities and their lawyers after him. Good luck!

Minal Khan also share her two-cents on the matter after her number was also leaked to the public,

Yesterday my private information including my personal phone number was leaked on social media. It was an utterly shameful act which was carried out intentionally by @ferozekhan on the absurd pretext of issuing a legal notice.

This action of his has caused me severe mental distress as I have been receiving hundreds of calls and messages. My personal security has been breached & put at risk as I have been mentally harassed, tortured & threatened by multiple numbers. Me and my family’s life has been put in danger.

Such actions are illegal – This being said I will be taking very strict legal action against Feroze khan for leaking my private information on social media along with multiple other famous individuals.

Feroze Khan Sends Legal Notice for Defamation to Top Celebrities [View List]

Top Pakistani actor Feroze Khan was accused of being a wife beater and abuser. Moreover, his ex-wife Syeda Aliza Sultan alleged that he would also put their children at risk at times.

Following her allegations, social media was divided into two, one group that continued to show their love and support for Khan and the other who supported his former wife.

Some of the supporters of Aliza Sultan have now been issued a legal notice of defamation from the actor. This also includes his former wife, who he says has a major hand in tarnishing his reputation.

Taking to Twitter, the Khaani actor shared, “Defamation legal notice has been served by my legal team to those for [sharing] false and baseless allegations.”

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Khan’s lawyer, Faique Ali Jagirani, shared:

The artists that have been served have made several false claims on social media – directly or indirectly – about Feroze Khan We have sent defamation legal notices to Feroze Khan’s peers, giving them a chance to clarify their position on the accusations. Either bring forth proof to support your claim or apologise publicly.

Khan’s legal representative further shared:

In today’s age of social media, you can’t just get away with anything you feel like. We have taken the legal steps to ensure that justice is swift. We have all the evidence against the aforementioned actors about their part in a malicious campaign against Feroze Khan on social media.

The legal notice addresses the defendants for making “false and defamatory statements on social media against their client, Feroze Khan without any proof or evidence.”

The legal notice further read that the “baseless allegations were made for which no official FIR was launched, led to defamation and character assassination as a result of which my client is continuously suffering from the financial loss of approx Rs20 million and mental torture since September 21, 2022.”

While the named personalities have yet to issue a statement, Sarwat Gillani’s husband, Fahad Mirza took to social media to share his two cents. He wrote ‘I don’t like to get involved in nonsense, but @ferozekhan is really vengeful and stupid for adding the personal numbers of all these actors and making it public! After this knee-jerk response, he has really proven that he is a moron of the highest order and I am sure whatever his wife says about him, must be true!

We have yet to see how these other individuals will respond to this legal notice.

Unauthorized Influencers Banned from Entering Parliament House

The National Assembly Secretariat has banned the entry of social media influencers without accreditations or valid credentials. Self-styled journalists and social media personalities will also not be allowed access to Parliament House.

This decision was announced after an incident of “misbehaviour with [lawmakers] by some unauthorised YouTubers/social media influencers at Gate No. 1 of Parliament House” on 23 December last year.

The same incident was also conveyed to the president Press Reporters’ Association (PRA) to seek the PRA’s stance in this regard. The PRA formally conveyed that it is only responsible for its members and the PRA detached itself from Youtubers and social media influencers.

PRA secretary general Asif Bashir Chaudhry said they did not support any kind of ban on citizen journalists, and the PRA believed that not just journalists, but each and every citizen of Pakistan, enjoyed the freedom of expression.

It was, further, also decided by the National Assembly Secretariat that entry of only those reporters, journalists, and media personnel would be allowed who are associated with accredited media organizations along with a valid registration card of the concerned media organization.

Social media influencers who are interested to cover the proceedings of the House may accredit themselves with the PID and have a valid session card for entry to the Parliament House.

Earlier, influencers such as Hareem Shah and other individuals for a political party had made their way inside the building without attaining permission from proper channels.

Not only did the news go viral, but the photo session that took place inside also became a subject of conversation, raising questions on the safety and security of the politicians who are often visiting the premises for official business.

Since then, this matter was taken into serious consideration and now finally a conclusion has been brought forward.

The new year 2023 has just started and we already have major news from the Pakistani music industry coming in.

Thanks to our artists’ amazing talent and renowned platforms like Coke Studio among many more, Pakistani crooners are now finally getting international exposure on global platforms.

Not only is our man Ali Sethi performing at Coachella this year, but our very own rappers Young Stunners will also be performing their magic alongside Travis Scott.

This is major news for the industry, and just to add to this, Arooj Aftab, Pakistan’s first and only Grammy winner has once again been nominated for yet another Grammy – can this year get any better?

First Miss Trans Pakistan Shyraa Rose Announces Upcoming Film ‘Sanak’

Shyraa Roy, the first Miss Trance Pakistan, is all set to play the lead role in the movie, Sanak. The movie is written by famous Indian filmmaker, Vikram Bhatt.

The psychological thriller also stars Javed Shaikh, Muneeb Ali, Murad Kazmi, Beenish George, Marhoom Bilal, Zeenat Butt and many others.

The film is being directed by Hassan Fareed under Imdaad Hussain Production while the script is done by the Raaz director Vikram Bhatt for the first time in Pakistani cinema.

Roy shared the big news on her social media along with the official movie poster and captioned it as ‘this year every blood stain will remain as his benchmark!’

Sanak is a story of a mentally unstable man Zaffar Minhas. Minhas has an uncontrollable obsession with popular actress Samaira Khan, and he tries to kill her acquaintances to get to her in the most horrifying and brutal ways.

The model explained the premise for the film expected to release next year. “The story is about this mentally unstable guy Zafar Minhas who is in love with Samaira; he’s a crazy fan of hers. But he is so unstable that he murdered his parents when he was 12,” she said. “Now, to get to me, he tries to kill anyone who’s near and dear to me, for example, my father, my sister and my manager.”

Previously, the model and actor, has worked in several Bollywood films including, Street Dancer 3D, Mohenjo Daro, Aks, and Saaho. Talking about her role, Roy said that she is playing a role of a famous top actor in the movie, like Pakistani actor Mahira Khan and Bollywood’s Deepika Padukone.

She said that the story of this film revolves around a top actor and one of her fans who love this actor more than anything but his love turns into obsession and madness. The movie Sanak is slated to release in cinemas this year.

“My character’s name is Samaira Khan, she is a popular actor on the same level as Mahira Khan from Pakistan or Bollywood’s Deepika Padukone. She is one of the biggest stars in town and has millions of fans. This is my role, I play the lead, the main heroine of the film.” Roy revealed.

Roy said though the film comes under the folds of dark cinema — there’s something that keeps you hooked. She believes it’s the element of genius in how creatively the gruesome murders are executed. The model also thinks the contrast between the killer’s personality and his actions is something that tugs at your heart while confusing your brain.

Sanak means strange and unconventional behaviour and is linked to the Urdu word sanki.

‘No One Has the Right to Defame My Character’ Mehwish Hayat Breaks Silence

Top Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has finally broken her silence. After Kubra Khan, Hayat has now filed a petition in court against the YouTuber Adil Raja who had allegedly ran a smear campaign against her and other actresses.

Earlier last week, he used the initials of some Pakistani actresses and accused them of giving illegal services to Army officials.

In a conversation with the media, she revealed she has gone through brutal mental agony due to these baseless claims. She further said that social media has people who run negative campaigns against people and it is sad to see people believing them without seeing any actual proof.

Moreover, Hayat expressed that respecting women is everyone’s responsibility and she expects justice from Judiciary. She also added that anyone who participated in sharing the propaganda is equally involved and should be punished as per laws.

She also took to social media to express her feelings – she wrote:

Today I went to court to send a strong message that I will not stand for these vile smear campaigns anymore. This has been going on for some time – but the events of the last few days have hit a new low. Criticise my work all you like – but no one has the right to defame my character. I am not the one to sit and let anyone use me as a pawn in their dirty political games! I am not going to rest until this is resolved. I am happy that the petition has been filed and the people behind this including all the trollers who are spreading malicious lies will be held accountable by the authorities. It is such a shame that I’ve had to go to court to protect my dignity and reputation – is this what we have become? I would like to thank all those from the industry, family, friends and above all fans who have sent me messages of support. They have provided me strength in what has been a trying time.

Prior to this when the allegations initially popped up, she wrote:

Sasti shohrat haasil karne k liye kuch logue insaaniat k darjay se bhi girjatay hain . Hope you’re enjoying your two mins of fame. Just because I am an actress doesn’t mean my name can be dragged through the mud. Shame on you for spreading baseless allegations and insinuations about someone you know nothing about & even bigger shame on people who believe this bullshit. This just shows the sickness of our society that laps up this gutter journalism without any thought. But this stops & it stops now!I won’t allow anyone to defame my name.

More power to you Mehwish – we hope that many can learn important lessons from this situation and realize that attempting to smear a woman’s reputation comes with a price.

Recently, Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has hit a slug in his career. Not only did his previous movie ‘Thank God’ perform terribly, but Pakistanis are also roasting his upcoming movie ‘Mission Majnu’ like anything.

So why are Pakistanis laughing out loud? Mission Majnu is set in the 1970s and is based on an Indian spy who goes undercover in Pakistan to pass intelligence to his country in regard to a nuclear power program.

According to the filmmakers, it is ‘inspired by true events’ but nonetheless Pakistanis can’t get enough of the trolling. After the trailer dropped, it didn’t take them long to point out the most cliche and obvious mistakes and the awful depiction of the countrymen.

Several social media users also called out Bollywood telling the industry to get over the done-till-death concept of trying to show Pakistan as a terror country and how a 1-man Indian army is able to defeat one of the most powerful armies in the world.

Mehreen Shah Calls Out Director Ahsan Zaidi & Raj Gupta for Alleged Sexual Harassment in Baku

Pakistani actress Mehreen Shah has called out Director Ahsan Ali Zaidi and Indian Producer Raj Gupta for alleged sexual harassment in Baku.

She took to social media to express her feelings through a video in which she opened up about how she was highly mistreated by the director and the film crew during a shoot in the capital city of Baku, Azerbaijan.

The young model began the video by stating, “The purpose of making this video is to tell people to be careful. It is my first experience working with Syed Ahsan Ali Zaidi. I met him through a reference and I am sure that person is not involved”.

Mehreen Shah revealed that the producer Raj Gupta kept making inappropriate advances towards her, which she ignored. Upon multiple rejections, Raj Gupta and Ahsan Zaidi started mistreating the young Pakistani actress, not even inviting her for dinner or checking up on her wellbeing.

The actress said once while doing BTS, the Indian producer said they were making a video there. When I passed by, they grabbed my hand and I said, “What are you doing?” Meanwhile, the director Ehsan Zaidi was standing there, they were laughing there even knowing how much I felt tormented, and meanwhile, their attitude towards me changed. They didn’t even give me food on the last day of the shoot because I refused what they wanted.

The amount of stress, anxiety I had to face here, I cannot explain. There was unprofessional behavior on set.

She added that Gupta invited prostitutes to the hotel suite out of habit, which made her very uncomfortable. She warned her co-stars and fellow actresses of the fraternity to re-think before working with such individuals.

She concluded that she had to book her own flight and expenses just to get back to Pakistan. The actress said I have taken Ehsan Zaidi’s passport because he can cancel my ticket, I have my credit card and cash, I will buy my own ticket.

We hope that the authorities take the utmost action in the case and the victim get the justice they deserve,

Kubra Khan Takes Stand for “Hardworking, Independent Women”, Slaps Defamation Case on Adil Farooq Raja

Top Pakistani actress Kubra Khan has filed a defamation case against YouTuber and former serviceman Adil Farooq Raja.  Adil Raja, a former spokesperson for Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society and retired Major.

For a few days now, the news of Raja pointing out that some of the country’s top actresses have been engaging with officials through ‘honey pot’ traps has been circulating.

Even though he did not name them out loud, he gave their initials which were more than enough to create havoc and throw mud on the reputations of Kubra Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Mahira Khan, and Sajal Aly.

In response, Khan penned down an emotional caption while sharing images of the legal notice she had her lawyers send to Raja.

She wrote:

The past four days.. have been so difficult for me and my family that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to explain in words. I couldn’t wrap my head around why anyone would do this to me.. even after it was clarified that my name or initials were misinterpreted why was I still getting bullied so ferociously. Even before I reacted.. why were my pictures being used in such an inappropriate manner.. and then I realized.. that no one’s ever put a stop to it.

 

Because we’re so used to being quiet, until this story dies, another arises to do the same damage just because we didn’t speak up.

 

But enough is enough. So this is me, exercising my constitutional rights as a Pakistani and relying on our law to protect my dignity and this is me saying what I want to speak for all the hard-working independent women out there who are insulted daily. I’m not gonna stand here and say I stood up for every woman out there but I will say that I stood up so that from now on if a situation like this arises, every woman and man out there knows that standing up for yourself is your RIGHT.

 

So now.. I leave it in your hands, Our law Implementors and God’s Hands. I rest my case.

Reportedly, Kubra Khan is not the only one who has filed a case against Adil Raja. According to Geo News, a serving head of the intelligence command of Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Punjab, sued London-based Adil Farooq Raja for allegedly running a defamation campaign against him on social media platforms. He has demanded an apology, damages and a retraction of the defamatory statements.

The suit was filed with the UK High Court against Mr Raja in August 2022 but was made public on Tuesday as Mr Raja stirred controversy in Pakistan over his allegations targeting leading film and TV actresses. However, Raja told Geo News that his tweets and vlogs were based on the information “provided by highly placed sources within the Pakistani Establishment”.
