Rabia Anum Walks Out of Nida Yasir’s Show Because of Mohsin Abbas Haider

Salon owner Rabia Anum walked out of a live show, hosted by Nida Yasir. The reason behind her actions was none other than actor Mohsin Abbas Haider.

Wondering what happened? Good Morning Pakistan invited Rabia to the show as a guest, alongside Fiza Ali and Mohsin Abbas Haider.

Reportedly, Rabia was not told that she had been invited alongside Mohsin on the show. After she found out that he is a part too, she left.

Rabia has supported Mohsin Abbas Haider’s ex-wife Fatema Sohail after she called him out on social media as an abusive ex who allegedly beat her.

According to a source, Rabia said on live television that she cannot share a platform with a wife-beater on her way out.

She humbly apologized to Nida Yasir explaining “I want to apologize beforehand to you, Nida, for what I am about to say. You know I love you. This team and this channel are very dear to me. We are talking about childhood mistakes right now but there are some mistakes that stay with you your whole life. I don’t want to make such mistakes here today,” she said.

“There is an issue close to me for which I have taken a strong stand i.e. domestic abuse. When I came to your show today, I knew that Fiza will be here but I wasn’t aware of any other guests. I believe if my smallest action can help my daughter or anyone out there then I have to comply. I know you (Nida) are a responsible person. But I think if I sat through this show today then tomorrow, I won’t be able to face my friends, my colleagues and all those girls who are the victims of abuse,” she added.

Mohsin Abbas Haider was accused of physically abusing his wife, Fatima Sohail, in 2019. But the actor has refused these claims and has rejected any claim of abuse.

The actor said that his wife’s allegations are all a part of a conspiracy against him being carried out by his “enemies” in the showbiz industry.

Here’s What Nida Yasir Advised Sajal Aly After Her Public Divorce with Ahad Raza Mir

Morning show host and producer of film ‘Chakkar’ Nida Yasir has advised Pakistani actress Sajal Aly not to lose or get sad post-divorce.

Actors Yasir Nawaz, his wife Nida Yasir, and co-star Neelum Muneer were present at a promotional interview for their film release, Chakkar. During the interview, they were asked plenty of fun questions regarding the co-stars and celebrities from the industry.

Nida Yasir was asked to advise stars from the industry individually. The media person asked Yasir what advice she would like to give Sajal Aly, who is going through a rough patch in her life, hinting at her divorce from Ahad Raza Mir.

Yasir, lending her support, said, “I’m just going to advise Sajal that when you smile, you look great. I wish you always smile because when you cry, you don’t cry alone; others also cry when you cry.”

She concluded by saying, “Don’t get heartbroken.” 

Sajal and Ahad tied the knot in March 2020 in Dubai with their family and friends in their presence. The news of the couple parting ways was confirmed by Aamna Haider Isani of SomethingHaute in March 2022. They were together for only two years, of which the ending months were quite rocky. Both didn’t appear together on-screen and off-screen for some time which made fans suspect that the two had parted ways.

The couple themselves have not spoken about their divorce on social media, nor have they given any clarifications to their fans as to why they separated. Fans hope they continue to see them thrive in their lives and that this decision will only prove to be better for the two of them.

Following his statement, people were engaged in discourse online about whether Nawaz should have said her name on-air or not. Hina Dilpazeer Reveals Why She Preferred to Remain Single in Nida Yasir’s Morning Show

Senior Pakistani actress, Hina Dilpazeer, best known for her outstanding performance as “Momo” in the ARY Digital comedy series Bulbulay revealed why she preferred to remain single in Nida Yasir’s morning show.

The actress was invited to Good Morning Pakistan’s “Shan-e-Suhoor” alongside co-actress Ayesha Omar. Host, Nida Yasir, interviewed them. While asking many questions, Yasir questioned Hina about why she was still single. Omar, seated next to Dilpazeer, jokingly intervened and said she would be asked the same question next.

In response to Nida’s query, Dilpazeer revealed what had transpired in her personal life, “I didn’t find someone worth loving whom I could get married to and when I found him, I was too busy with my work.”

Yasir then asked, “That someone didn’t wait for you?” Dilpazeer said, “No, no, he didn’t.”

She said, “I’ve no regret of not marrying again and living a single life. I think we should trust Allah’s plan and should never regret what so ever happened in the past. If I ever found a good human being, I’ll surely consider him and move forward in my life”.

Nida Yasir Faces Strong Criticism Online For Making Mockery of Hijab

Nida Yasir is once again under fire, this time for making a mockery out of the Hijab, which is a piece of cloth worn by Muslim women in the company of any male outside of their immediate family.

What Happened?

In 2017, in one of Nida Yasir’s shows, the topic of discussion was Hijab. Yasir began the show by telling her audience that the show was dedicated to women and girls who cover their heads. There were plenty of details discussed regarding fashion and hijab in the episode.

These ranged from the cloth of the hijab to its design and how it could be wrapped around on the head. Moreover, the host also presented how a bride can tie the hijab and how people with different face cuts can wear it. The theme was great, and the show outlined some vital information that helped women improve their looks.

What is the Issue?

Makeup artist Waqar Hussain was seen with one of his assistants helping models and the host Nida herself to put on the hijab. It is crucial to understand that the hijab is not just a piece of cloth. It is a choice based on religious obligation, making the topic a lot more sensitive than it was deemed on the show. The cloth is tied around by women to avoid the gaze of men. Instead, the show selected 2 men to help women wear hijabs which were greatly frowned upon.

The team behind the shows must take care of the fact that topics that are sensitive to the region’s people must be critically assessed before being brought displayed on the TV.

Nida Yasir Asks Babar Azam Problematic Questions Associated with Conceived Notions of Beauty in a Video Clip Shared on Social Media

Pakistani popular morning show host Nida Yasir has become a target of severe backlash online once again. This time around, a clip of her and Babar Azam has resurfaced online.

In the short clip, taken from a morning show in 2018, Nida engages with the now trending cricketer. In the middle of the show, she asks him controversial questions associated with conceived notions of beauty that were quite personal.

Conforming standards of societal gossip, Nida asks typical aunty questions on the show. She says, “Babar, whenever you will get married, what kind of wife do you want? What qualities do you seek in your wife?”

The questions made the cricketer hesitant. However, he responded, “She should be honest and understand me.”

Yasir could have focused on the cricketer’s potential partner’s personality as Babar Azam did. The host instead steered the conversation towards conservative ideals for wives in Pakistan. She continues, “Do you want a wife who gives you bed tea in the morning, presses your clothes, or cook you food?”

Babar replied, grinning, “Am I a kid? Who is going to school?” Instead of closing the topic, Yasir continued to project controversial questions towards the star. “What should be the beauty standard for your wife? She should have big eyes, should be tall, have long hair”. Babar replied, “I don’t want any such thing, as I said that she should understand me and my family”.

She stirred the conversation further to regressive waters. “So it would be fine if she is fat or short heightened”. Babar replied, “Not that fat, or small, she must be just normal”.

All hell broke loose when Yasir asked, “Would it be fine if she is tanned, or you want a white wife?” Maintaining his cool, Babar replied, “I am okay with anyone.”

It is such a sad state of affairs to witness the same stereotypical interrogations and set societal notions of beauty being represented and elevated on national tv channels, even today. The host clearly has no substantial questions to ask her guests. In another instance, Nida Yasir was trolled online for not doing enough background checks or research on one of her guests.

Muneeb Butt Opens Up About His Controversial Statement from Nida Yasir’s Show

Muneeb Butt had become part of controversy due to his problematic statement in Nida Yasir’s show back in September.

Host Nida Yasir and another guest were engaging in a friendly conversation with Muneeb on the show. During the conversation, Muneeb asked Nida what her biggest fear was. Nida responded by saying that her biggest fear is her husband marrying for the second time.

To this, Muneeb responded jokingly, “Yay dur hona chahiyay. Yay dur hur khatoon mein hona chahiyay. Iisiliyay apko chahiyay kay ap apnay husband ko pamper kurain. Apko khayal rukhna chahiyay. Itni mohabbat daini chahiyay kay unka dosri turaf mind hi nahi jaye [Women should stay in constant fear that their husbands will do second marriage. In this way, they will shower more love towards their husbands].”

During an interview with BBC that came out yesterday, he talked about this particular controversy again. He said, “I said something else, and it turned out to be something else. I said it jokingly, it was just a joke. You took that joke completely out of the context, made headlines out of it that Muneeb Butt wants every woman to live in constant fear and God knows what they spread about me, but it didn’t affect me. The next day I said what I wanted to say in my video. Sensible people understood what I said and those people who don’t have any humor I cannot say anything to them”.

Later, he uploaded a lengthy video on YouTube clarifying his stance in the video. He said small blogs produce clickbait headlines for a few followers and create controversies.

Pakistan’s popular morning host, Nida Yasir, has officially become a national meme. This happened over the past week as a clip of her interview from 2016 went viral where she had no idea about a sports car.

The whole country was confused at Yasir’s innocence 5 years ago. At the time, she didn’t know a thing about racing cars and ended up inviting guests without any research. It was obvious that she would become a meme someday. In the short clip, we see Nida asking innocent questions and the engineers answering them.

The clip is from an interview where she invited Aleem and Shariq from NUST. Both talented individuals were part of a team that built an electric racing car and went to the Formula Student in the US.

Her first question was if more than one person could sit in the car. Aleem replied, “Actually, it is a Formula car. So only one person can sit inside.” Nida then made a witty remark, “Oh, so it’s just a formula for now? Have you done an experiment on any car?”

At this point, the engineers were left baffled as the host had not researched their work before inviting them over. But they were kind enough to answer. “No, it’s a Formula car. We’ve made one. It’s a race car.” Nida then questioned, “So, does it drive as fast as a petrol-fuelled car?” All in all, we all had a good laugh over the circulating clip.

Ahmad Ali Butt Reveals He Took 8 Years to Convince Wife for Marriage [ View Clip ]

Ahmad Ali Butt and his wife, Fatima Khan, were invited to Nida Yasir’s Good Morning Pakistan. Alongside the couple, Hassan Ahmed and Sunita Marshall were also invited. The host, Nida Yasir, was having a fun-filled conversation with both the couples regarding how they had met and so forth.

During the conversation, Ahmad and Fatima’s love story was being discussed. That is when the star revealed that it took him 8 years to convince Fatima for marriage. During this period, Fatima moved to London, but Ahmad was determined and kept in touch. He called her 3-4 times a day so that Khan didn’t forget he existed and that he was waiting for her to make a decision.

Fatima mentioned in the show that her sister would often ask, “Is bunday say kya chukar hay?” to which she replied, “Mujhay nahi kurni hay shadi, mtlb is bunday say you nahi karongi.” She would then ask, “Koi aur hay?” to which Khan giggled, “Nahi hay.” They would constantly argue that Ahmad was a decent guy, but Khan wasn’t pleased for the longest time.

Khan also mentioned that every year she thought she’d get someone better, and so she declined Ahmad repeatedly. However, once the family noticed that Ahmad was determined and Fatima was somewhat unclear about what she wanted, she was asked by her sister, “What exactly are you looking for?”

The question was difficult, and it made Fatima think it over. She said, “Waqai mein kya dhoondh rahi hoon?” She had no ideals, so she finally accepted Ahmad, and both got married.
