Despite frequently posting about her daughter, Zara has kept Noor-e-Jahan’s face hidden from public view, sparking curiosity among her fans.

Zara, who is married to fellow actor Asad Siddiqui, welcomed her daughter earlier this year. Since then, the couple has been sharing glimpses of their life with Noor-e-Jahan, often through photos where her face is either covered or not shown.

In a recent Instagram post, Zara explained her decision to keep her daughter’s identity private, citing concerns about the evil eye—a belief prevalent in many cultures, including Pakistan.

“Not showing your picture to the world anytime soon, because of the evil eye (nazar),” she wrote, adding that she plans to continue shielding her daughter’s face from the public for the foreseeable future. Pakistani Actress Zara Noor Abbas Speaks Out in Regards to the Spoilt Kidnapping Attempt in Lahore

Once again the women in Pakistan are feeling unsafe as the country witnesses a rise in rape, crimes, and kidnappings. Just recently, a lady lawyer in Lahore had a narrow escape after she was almost kidnapped by two unknown men.

Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas took it to her official Instagram to share her anger, writing – This is ridiculous! Furthermore, the actress is not the only one upset about this incident.

Social media is seeing an outburst of emotions by both male and female users about how women are unsafe in Pakistan. Many users have even pointed out that the victim was not even wearing any revealing clothes, but was covered from head to toe.

 

What Happened in Lahore?

This took place in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on 18th July, the CCTV footage became viral on social media just recently. We can clearly see that the woman makes her way to her vehicle, after which an unknown male opens the back door and gets inside.

Before she can react and get out of the car, another man approaches the driver’s side and forces himself in. Thankfully, the woman managed to throw herself out of the vehicle before their attempt was successful. The young woman is Advocate Saria Malik.

Moreover, the scariest part of the entire incident is that it took place in broad daylight. The criminals drove the car away, along with her laptop, cash and other valuables. The lawyer registered an FIR the same day as the incident

The police official said the anti-vehicle lifting squad was working on the case, hoping the criminals would be arrested soon.

Shortly after Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot, the couple stole the limelight, as fans were astonished to hear that they were ready to move to the next step of their relationship so fast.

Following their marriage, Alia took it to Instagram to announce that Kapoor Jr was on the way. She wrote “our baby ….. coming soon” after which a heap of comments started to pour in.

But, this also provoked trolls to take an opportunity to take a dig at the newly married couple. It took mere minutes after the post went online for snarky and nasty remarks to pop up. However, Alia was extremely unhappy when India Today wrote that she will be taking a break from her shoots.

Furious over this fake news, Alia took it to Instagram to respond by saying that ‘nothing has been delayed, no one needs to PICK anyone up, I am a woman, not a parcel, I do not need REST at all but good to know you’ll have a doctor’s certification as well.

After this news went viral, Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas also took a stand in favour of the Indian actress. She wrote ‘And I thought only Pakistan thinks like this especially when brands wanted to drop me off when they got to know I was expecting – becoming pregnant and being an actress makes the society feel you are not GOOD for work anymore. Well, guess what, WOMEN are good enough for everything and anything and it’s time the DICTATORS realise so. And WE DON’T HAVE TO PROVE OUR MOTHERHOOD AND CRAFT to any patriarchy.’

Durefishan Saleem also took it to social media to add her two cents. She writes ‘we can get married/make babies and still be kick-ass fab. Marriage is a part of life, not a halt. Stop telling WOMEN that their career goals don’t align with that.’

The news of Zara becoming the new brand ambassador was announced this week on social media pages of the brand and its latest face. Posters featuring Zara with a bold lip from ST London were published with the caption that said, “You’re free to be YOU. Your originality lies in being BOLD. Just like her.”

The beauty brand’s latest campaign calls for women empowerment in a world where women are shunned for being their true selves. In such a world, ST London promotes the idea that women need to own themselves no matter what. This explains why Zara has been picked as the brand ambassador for the beauty line. She has always stayed true to herself; she is bold, beautiful and confident.

In a branded clip posted on Zara’s Instagram captioned, “I, Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui, welcome you to the world of ST London”, the actress introduces her audience to the brand and how it is just what she wants on all days, whether it is red carpet look, or a look that is subtle and muted yet requires finesse for her dramas.

In another branded Instagram post, Zara says that her association with the brand is due to its integrity as a product.

Pakistan’s first beauty blogger based in Islamabad with Down syndrome, Ridda Zahra Naqvi, has garnered a great fan following since she started uploading her video tutorials on Instagram. She has been praised for her efforts widely, not just by the masses but also by Pakistani celebrities. Reportedly, her first makeup tutorial video went viral on Instagram.

Ridda’s first video appeared on Instagram on February 7, which her sister uploaded. Up to date, the video accumulated 817,000 views, 75,000 likes, and 12,400 comments on Instagram. Stars that have commented on the video include Sadaf Kanwal, Ayesha Omar, Sana Javed, Zara Noor Abbas and many more. Other than that, popular influencers also left comments on Ridda’s first post, so the 16-year-old star stays motivated and creates similar content on the platform.

Ridda spoke to Arab news exclusively and told them that she enjoys the comments on the video the most as they make her really happy.  She said,

“I enjoy the comments the most. They make me really happy.”

Ridda currently has 43.3 k followers on Instagram, which are increasing by the minute. Her sister Alina Naqvi described the response of the crowd saying the following count is a welcome surprise. According to the news outlet, brands have approached Ridda to collaborate with her and create brand content.
