American shoe brand for casual footwear for men, women, children, Hush Puppies has partnered with Peshawar Zalmi for this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL 7).
Peshawar Zalmi, a popular team in the league, released its official anthem, which dropped on the weekend. The ad features a star-studded cast with Hania Aamir, Farhan Saeed, and Ali Rahman Khan and also introduces the Peshawari Chappal designed by Hush Puppies for women.
The league serves as a door of opportunity for local and international brands to collaborate and create branded merchandise each time. This time, Peshawar Zalmi came out with an exclusive and co-branded line produced in collaboration with Hush Puppies.
What are Peshawari Chappals?
The Peshawari chappal is a traditional type of footwear of Pashtuns, worn in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region by Pathans. The shoe takes its name from the city it originated from, Peshawar.
Even though many versions of the Peshawari chappals are available in the market, this is the first time a brand has created a branded version of the popular chappals from KPK, especially for women, which we often don’t spot in the branded shops at the mall.
