Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari Reveals First-Born son Mir Hakim Mahmood Chaudhry on Social Media

The daughter of prominent politicians Asif Zardari and late Benazir Bhutto, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, has revealed his first-born son Mir Hakim Mahmood Chaudhry today on Instagram.

Sources reveal that Bakhtawar and Mahmood Choudhry have set their son’s name to pay tribute to her late grandfather Hakim Ali Zardari and late uncle Mir Murtaza Bhutto.

Bakhtawar announced the news of the baby’s arrival in October. She wrote on Twitter while tagging husband Mehmood Choudhry, “We are happy to announce the birth of our baby boy.” The couple welcomed the baby boy on the 10th of October but announced it official a day later on social media.

At the time, he was born before the due date of Nov 8th and was in NICU’ getting stronger every day’.

They were later discharged from the hospital on Oct 17th. Bakhtawar said on Twitter, “Finally home settling in with our baby boy”. She added, “Thank you for all your messages, love and prayers”.

Like all parents, Bakhtawar has also been busy setting up his spaces in the house. She shared an image of her son’s library, which has books on his late grandmother. She captioned the post, “Working on his library collection.”

Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari tied the knot in January 2021 to a Dubai-based businessman Mahmood Choudhry. The Nikkah Ceremony of Bakhtawar and Mahmood was held on the 29th of January, and the Valima ceremony on the 30th of January.

Before tying the knot, the duo got engaged 2 months ago, in November last year, in an intimate ceremony. The buzz around the engagement ceremony was surreal, and even the invitations card went viral on social media.

Chairperson, Bilawal Bhutto wasn’t able to attend the engagement ceremony, as he contracted COVID-19.

The daughter of prominent politicians Asif Zardari and late Benazir Bhutto, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, has announced the birth of her firstborn baby boy on Twitter today.

She wrote on Twitter while tagging husband Mehmood Choudhry, “We are happy to announce the birth of our baby boy.” The couple welcomed the baby boy on the 10th of October, while the official announcement was made a day later on social media.

No photos or glimpses of the baby were shared of the mother or the baby online as yet.

While 1000s of tweets poured in immediately to congratulate Bakhtawar on her first baby’s arrival, tweets that stood out were of her brother Bilawal Bhutto and younger sister, Aseefa Bhutto.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Bakhtawar’s elder brother, also reacted to the news on Twitter. He wrote, “Officially, mamoo!”

Bakhtawar’s youngest sister, Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, also rejoiced about the news and expressed her gratefulness. She wrote in a tweet, “Officially a Khala !!! Alhamdullilah”.

Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari Says Single Men Must Be Accompanied by Mother, Wife, Sisters or Daughters in Public Spaces

Numerous sexual crimes, assaults, and rape cases have surfaced in Pakistan in the past few months. Many believe that the cases coming forward are not even half of the actual number of cases. This is because a large number of such crimes go unreported. 

Recently, a TikToker was assaulted on Independence day in Lahore by at least 400 men. The news shocked many people on the internet worldwide. Following that, many tweeted against the ruling party as they witnessed the government’s negligence concerning the rising violence against women and children in the country.

Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari also took it to the microblogging site and said that men should be banned from being present alone in public spaces. They must be with their mothers, wives, daughters, or even sisters, which then, of course, will pertain them from such crimes in public spaces.

Re my tweet banning men from the public. I stand by it. Single men should not be allowed out without being escorted by sisters, mothers, wives or daughters – perhaps then they will think twice before assaulting women. With repeated & increasing incidents of assault no better option.

As per many sources, the government has banned TikTokers from entering public parks without permission. PHA’s statement says that the authority is also considering imposing a ban on the entrance of more than two men in public parks.

In recent developments, around 100 men have been identified from the Minar-e-Pakistan incident and taken into custody by the authorities. The nation hopes that justice will be served and exemplary punishment will be given to criminals.

University of Lahore Expels Students Over Inappropriate Marriage Proposal: Celebrities & Politicians React

A few days ago, a video of a couple present at the University of Lahore went viral. The girl bent down on her knee and proposed to the guy. She handed him a card and a rose to express her love. The guy, seemingly happy with the PDA, pulled her in for a hug in front of the crowd. We knew this would not sit well with the university authorities as rules and regulations at universities in Pakistan are often strict in terms of the interaction between men and women.

On social media, users applauded the girl for making the first move. Thousands of users left comments on the short video clip from the university.  A statement was later issued by the registrar of the varsity that stated that a special disciplinary committee sat down to discuss the matter and also summoned the students to the meeting in which they didn’t appear. The committee then decided that the only way to deal with the matter is to expel the students and ban them from the campuses.

Authorities made the decision, but social media uproared on the matter. Local celebrities and even politicians thought the move was disgusting. It does not just display conservative thought processes but also hypocrisy at its best since the Universities never take notice of harassment cases but instantly expelled the duo for a little PDA.

Update: The moment we were all waiting for is finally here! Everyone has been trying their best to get a glimpse of what Bakhtawar Bhutto’s wedding looks like. Last night, chairmen of PPP, brother of the bride, shared pictures from the nikkah ceremony where Bakhtawar tied the knot with Mehmood Chaudhry.

He wrote a heartfelt caption on social media saying, the Happiest moment in many years to see my sister  @BakhtawarBZ getting married. Felt like our mother was watching over us in this moment of joy. Wishing them both all the best for their new life together. Masha’Allah!

The bride, Bakhtawr, is seen donning a gold-dotted ensemble by designer Wardha Saleem while the groom wore a cream coloured sherwani.

Aseefa B Zardari, the youngest sister of the three, congratulated her sister on this auspicious occasion. She wrote on Twitter: Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and joy. Mubarak Mubarak @bakhtawarbz@mahmoodchoudhryMubarak! I love you, my dear sister. I wish you a happy married life.

According to a local publication, “A brief statement issued by Bilawal House said that some 300 guests are expected at the main function due to the standard operating procedures related to Covid-19.”

As reported by Geo News, PPP leaders have revealed the wedding date of the first female prime minister, Benazir Bhutto’s daughter, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari with her fiancé, Mahmood Choudhary. Disclosed on Thursday, the wedding festivities of Bakhtawar Bhutto will kickstart on 27th January 2021.

The Case of Anonymous Reporters

The news comes from party leaders anonymously as no official announcements have been made by the party, currently chaired by Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. The Nikkah Ceremony of Bakhtawar and Mahmood will be held on the 29th of January and Valima ceremony on the 30th of January.
