The Scarsdale School came under the spotlight after a video of female students bullying another student went viral on social media.
The victim was reportedly beaten up and abused because she had refused to take drugs along with her schoolmates. However, Academia Mag has shared that the victim was close friends with the bullies and had been studying together school since Kindergarten.
Furthermore, the website claims that both Aleha Khan (the victim) and Kainat Malik (one of the bullies) have shared videos of drug use with each other’s fathers. Sources also revealed that the drug use videos were shot at a private party outside the school campus.
n FIR was registered by the victim’s father against the students following the incident.
However, the controversy has seemed to take an unexpected turn as the private school has refused to participate in the investigation and has refused to give CCTV footage as well.
The police officers managed to get a statement from four eyewitnesses. The controversial private school removed its principal, Bilal, and a canteen employee, Nasir, who was present during the incident.

Scarsdale School Under Scrutiny
That’s not all, Scardsale School has not only suspended the girls involved in the bullying incident namely Jannat Malik, Kainat Malik, Umaima Qaiser, Noor Rehman, but also the victim, Aleeha Imran, as well.
The National Commission on Rights of the Child (NCRC) has also taken notice of the incident and directed the School Education Department secretary to submit an inquiry report.
Lahore DC Mohammad Ali has suspended the school’s registration and directed the authority’s chief executive officer to look after the school’s affairs till the suspension of registration.
Scarsdale School DEA Inquiry Report
Furthermore, the DEA has submitted its inquiry report conducted by the Lahore Elementary School Education’s female district officer, deputy district officer, Cantt and deputy district officer, Model Town.
As per the report, the incident took place outside the cafeteria of the school in which four female students “tortured their class fellow”.
The report stated that the students involved in the matter were “friends” and the issue was created over sharing the pictures of a “student party outside the school” with parents.
It further stated the school in question lacks discipline and that there are no security cameras installed at the entrance of the cafeteria.
The inquiry officials have recommended slapping an Rs600,000 penalty on the school or suspending the school’s registration.
Moreover, as per the report, Scarsdale School has suspended the students until the end of the inquiry and has formed a 3-member inquiry committee to investigate the issue. The administration has also claimed that strict action will be taken against those responsible in light of the investigation carried out by the committee.
