Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed has been rumored to star in the historical drama series ‘The Crown.’ As per the rumor, he will be playing the role of Dr. Hasnat Khan, who is a British-Pakistani heart and lung surgeon. Dr. Hasnat Khan is widely known for his romantic relationship with Princess Diana.
The speculations began after Galaxy Bollywood in an Instagram post hinted at fans stating that a Pakistani actor would be associated with the series. The publication also hinted that the star is already associated with a mega project, Disney+ Series Ms. Marvel, which made fans assume it is Fawad Khan.
Someone commented, “It’s 100 percent Fawad Khan because he is the only actor who will appear in Ms.Marvel”. Someone else commented, “It’s Fawad and only Fawad.” Some also named Humayun Saeed in the comments section.
Humayun Saeed has not confirmed his association with the series as yet. However, media person Hasan Zaidi confirms he has been chosen to star in the tv series.

Jemima Goldsmith, a former journalist, participated in making the show an advisor to British screenwriter Peter Morgan. He wrote the fifth series on years leading up to Diana’s death in Paris car crash in 1997. However, in her opinion, the streaming giant’s screenwriters failed to represent the People’s Princess as she had hoped.
Jemima provided information about Princess Diana’s relationship with Hasnat Khan and Dodi Fayed, the son of the billionaire owner of Harrods, Mohamed Al-Fayed. Those years also include the infamous Panorama interview with journalist Martin Bashir.
