The famous beauty brand, Christian Dior has long been championing feminism and women empowerment through their designs and runway parades. However, placing women’s rights, right at the focus of the brand requires the entire business to embrace it- It cannot be just left to the fashion side of the firm.
“Women, with their intuitive instinct, understood that I dreamed not only of making them more beautiful, but happier too,” stated Christian Dior.
In September, “Dior Stands With Women” was launched by Dior Parfum, as a women empowerment initiative featuring a lineup of 10 females, from different walks of life, who have come together to share their stories with the world.
This has been done through a series of portraits and short films. The campaign features stars like Charlize Theron, and Cara Delevingne, and others such as Marina Cavazzana, Carole Biancalana, Li Bing Bing, Golshifteh Farahani, Leyna Bloom, Pamela Tulizo, Paloma Elsesser, Parris Goebel, and Yalitza Aparicio.
