Dubai Expo 2020 is ending on the 31st of March with a closing ceremony that will be held at the same venue where the opening ceremony took place last October, the central Al Wasi Plaza. The expo was opened to the public in October last year, it lasted for a total of 182 days.
Where Can You Watch the Closing Ceremony?
The closing ceremony will be streamed live on the Virtual Expo and Expo TV. Within the Expo 2020 Dubai site, at least 20 giant screens will be set up – this includes the main stages, Festival Garden, and various Country pavilions. This will allow people present within the Expo 2020 Dubai site to watch the closing ceremony.

Global music icons Christina Aguilera, Norah Jones, and Yo-Yo Ma will be performing at the closing ceremony. Each artist will perform full headline concerts across Jubilee Stage and Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre. Five Currents are the producers of the Closing Ceremony, with Scott Givens as Executive Producer of the show.
What time will the Show Begin?
The show will begin at 7 pm sharp on the 31st of March [Thursday]. The show will begin with the young girl from the opening ceremony performing her act. Later on, Yo-Yo Ma, a grammy-winning cellist will be performing followed by Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and pianist Norah Jones, and then pop legend Christina Aguilera will take the stage.
Also taking the stage will be the Expo 2020 World String Ensemble, which is a group of 16 international musicians led by maestro Harout Fazlian, and Italian pianist, Eleonora Constantini.
It is advised to arrive early and use public transport as it is expected to be one of the busiest days at Expo 2020. It is encouraged to use the Park & Ride service from Jebel Ali Metro Station. The Dubai Metro will be open for 24 hours to ensure that visitors of the expo closing ceremony arrive and depart safely and efficiently.
