Eid-ul-Fitr is just around the corner, and Muslims across the globe will be celebrating the day with full zeal. This is the first Eid after the COVID-19 pandemic, in Pakistan, where cases are relatively low which means you’ll finally be able to host Eid get-together and visit friends and family as you did before the pandemic.

Stir up lavish spreads, devouring some meetha, and of course, apply mehndi. Mehndi is a form of art, and one requires a lot of practice to deliver a decent design. In this article, we have listed down below ten mehndi designs ranging from easy to intricate patterns that you can try to re-do on your hands.

 1 – Flowers

Mehndi pattern with only flowers looks stunning if done right. You can pick any kinds of flowers you prefer and draw them across your palm. This serves as a chic and minimalistic look.

2 – Tikki Style

Tikki style is one of the oldest styles of mehndi. Either you can do a simple Tikki, which is trendy, or add some flowers and patterns around it to give it your unique touch.

3 – Fingers Only

This style is one of my favorites; it almost depicts as if you are donning 5 rings of the same kind. A lot of people prefer finger styles that cover fingers only. Of course, there are plenty of variations, from leaving a finger empty to covering only half; you can customize this style as you like.

4 – Pakistani Style

Pakistanis tyle mehndi is similar to Arab style. You can use flowers, geometrical patterns, bunches, and so much more to achieve this style.

5 – Bail Style

Bail style is easy to do and looks spectacular on both sides of the hand. You begin at the beginning of your palm and go until the end of any finger you like. You may also choose two fingers if you prefer.

6 – Abstract Style

Abstracts aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, however, they look beautiful if you pick the right pattern and understand what works for your hand.

7 – Bridal Style

We went a little overboard with this style, but some people enjoy bridal mehndi with no empty spaces left. If drawn just on palms, this can add up to an effortless outfit.

8 – Dark Stained Henna Pattern

This requires no effort at all! All you need is a ball of mehndi that you can clench on tightly for a minute, and voila, you will have a dark-stained mehndi pattern without any effort.

9 – Pendant Style

Mehndi styles with loose lurya such as this are referred to as the pendant style and loved by many. You can add flowers and geometrical patterns to make it look more appealing.

10 – Arabic Style

Arabic style comprises both flowers and geomatical patterns and usually requires a very thin cone to deliver an intricate design. It takes a lot of effort but is worth it in the end.
