In the 17-minute video, the actress has specifically targeted the Rishta culture and what itβs like for women to marry over 30 in our society. Her monologue that starts at 4.10 is specially worth a listen as she talks about the kind of rishtas females receive in our society and how the Rishta huting process has turned into a business. In the end she says;
βI want to get married for myself, not for people. Tou Shaadhi kero, Karobar nahiβ.
While it’s refreshing to see content creators advocate equal rights and opportunities for the female gender in their videos, it would be interesting to see more female content creators getting the limelight as well.

It’s so good to see powerful women of the industry raise their voices for causes and speak up on things of substance, rather than their makeup and workout regimens. I wish more actresses take inspiration from Saba Qamar and come forward with interesting content for entertainment purposes.
