Pakistani global icon Malala Yousufzai has been an advocate for educational rights and women’s rights from a young age. The Nobel prize laureate has recently expressed her wish to work with humanitarian and Hollywood’s sweetheart Angelina Jolie.
Malala is now living her life and is heading her own film and TV production company, Extracurricular. While talking to Variety about her new venture, she shared that she would like to make a documentary with Angelina Jolie and was impressed with the actor’s work for women, children and refugees.
Yousufzai added that she also wants to share their experiences through the project with Jolie in the near future.
One person I would love to work with would be Angelina Jolie. She has done amazing work to raise awareness about refugees around the world, she talks about children’s rights, and I would love to do something with her, a documentary, movie, or something in which we can share experiences of children, refugees, women and girls, that would be amazing.

She added that in this era, and with technology at our disposal, we are constantly surrounded by information all around us, on social media, and on our screens, and we need to have the skills to assess and evaluate what we are processing. It’s important for us to question who has written this, why, and what are their expertise, so we do not fall into fake news and misinformation.
