Karachi’s popular beach, Hawke’s Bay, now has water sports activities, including jet ski, boat rides, and many more under the Arabian Sea Water Sports Project.
As per Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab, the facilities have been made available under the public-private partnership. Previously, sports activities including jet-ski, speed boat, scuba diving were only available to the rich class of the country who could travel to other countries to enjoy these activities. With the latest partnership, the general public will be able to enjoy water sports.
According to Murtaza Wahab, “Citizens come to Hawke’s Bay with their families and enjoy these facilities.” With these fun activities available to everyone, citizens of Karachi can now plan beach picnics and enjoy the Arabian Sea Water Sports Project at Hawke’s Bay.
Hawke’s Bay beaches were greatly neglected and not developed. “We have the best beach, and by developing it, we can increase the beauty of this city as well as get a large amount of foreign exchange. We believe in service and will continue to do so,” he said.
At the inauguration ceremony, Metropolitan Commissioner Syed Afzal Zaidi, PPP leader Shakeel Chaudhry, and other officials were also present.
Many such developments are underway in Sindh. The development of the road from Machli Chowk to Camp is underway at the moment. In the future, modern facilities such as sports activities will be provided at Hawke’s Bay. Additionally, new projects be launched under public-private partnership.

Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, inaugurated ‘Manora Waterfront Beach’ on Saturday. The recreational project is worth Rs. 650 million, according to a local publication. The project has been developed in Karachi’s Kemari district to increase the number of recreational facilities in the city. Shah also announced that the Sindh government is collectively planning to launch a ferry service from the Clifton area to Manora beach with the inauguration.
