Pakistani apparel retailer Nishat Linen has launched a praise-worthy campaign called ‘Rise by Lifting Others.’ The campaign’s central focus is women lifting other women.
The campaign will feature stories of women supporting women to revive the spirit of lifting each other. The women of steel featured in their latest ad are Dr. Noreen Zafar, the ‘Girls & Women Health Initiative’s founder,’ Jannat Ali, a transgender activist, and the Executive Director of ‘Track-T, ‘Dr. Mehreen Shahid, the founder of an NGO named ‘Safe Delivery Safe Mother, ‘and Shameelah Ismail, the CEO of ‘GharPar, promote the message that we are invincible when we work together.
All women can thrive if we focus our energy on lifting others in any capacity. We can easily do this because a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. The ad captions, “Let’s promise to heal the world with our hearts, lift the world with our souls and elevate the world with our words.”
Be a Star in Someone’s Dark Sky: Women in our society encounter numerous challenges. Women who can lift and help others must do the necessary to strengthen the women around them. After all, the only way to rise is by lifting others.
We have the same hurdles, so we must all fight together: Today’s women face somewhat similar hurdles. While some can get through the obstacles, others don’t. The idea is if women unite and understand that their hurdles are the same and then fight as one force towards difficulties, they can improve their lives for the better.
We need to become each other’s support system, not each other’s competition: We often witness women becoming each other competing at work and in other spaces. Instead, we must focus on becoming each other’s support system because we are stronger together. The only way to move forward is by taking each other’s hand because we are one.
