Pakistani drama serial Tere Bin has finally rolled out the super controversial episode we all had been waiting for, and as expected, it had a twist. Before we go on, let’s recap what happened in Tere Bin.
The episode’s promo showed an angry Murtasim closing the door and then Meerab crying sitting next to the bed and he emotional on the bed. This scene implements that either Murtasim lost control and abused his wife or committed marital rape.
With Haya’s dialogues following, we can tell that what happened was probably not consensual. However, after receiving major backlash from the internet and a call to ban the show, the episode was the opposite.

The episode did not have marital rape, the relationship that both Meerab and Murtasim had was indeed consensual and because they ‘could not control themselves’ both of them fell in their own eyes (hence the crying and breaking of mirrors).
Moreover, the transitions and continuous voice-overs also give away that the episode was dubbed and edited to avoid the public’s backlash.
