Eid al Adha 2022 is around the corner, which means it’s time to gear up and get our money ready for the awesome list of movies that are going to hit the big screens.

Not one nor two but many titles will be competing with one another to see who emerges as the blockbuster of the season. It will be a close call, but we can’t wait to grab some popcorn and binge these amazing titles.

Wondering which movies are going to release? Here’s what’s coming your way:

Pakistani Movies Releasing on Eid al Adha 2022

1. Quaid e Azam Zindabad

Starring the superstar duo Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa, Nabeel Qureshi’s Quaid e Azam Zindabad is all about – you guessed it – CORRUPTION. The trailer is out and social media is raving about it.

Looks like we have our very own ‘Dabangg‘ police officer too!

2. London Nahi Jaunga

‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ was a massive success, and its sequel, ‘London Nahi Jaunga’ is all set to release on Eid, with many eyes set on the film. Starring the stunning Mehwish Hayat and the talented Humayun Saeed, the official poster has been rolled-out, and the trailer should be out no time soon.

This time around, we will also get to see the beautiful Kubra Khan on screen whereas the prequel had Urwa Hussain who played the famous Durdana.

3. Carma- The Movie

We have to admit, this trailer had us HOOKED! Starring names like Adnan Siddiqui, Navin Waqar, and Zhalay Sarhadi amongst others, the movie is calling itself Pakistan’s ‘first in-your-face new age revenge thriller’ that may just change Pakistani cinema as we know it.

4. Lafangey

Lafangey starring Mani (Salman Sheikh), Sami Khan, Nazish Jahangir, Saleem Meraj, Mubeen Gabol and Behroze Sabzwari is a horror comedy which is expected to release on Eid al Adha this year.

With intense love and dreams of a happily-ever-after, the young couple also harbours their personal goals of a flourishing career in the music industry.

2 – Parde Mein Rehne Do

Parde Mein Rehne Do is an upcoming Pakistani social romantic comedy film with Hania Aamir and Ali Rehman Khan as lead characters. The film is directed and produced by Wajahat Rauf under Showcase Productions and is written by Mohsin Ali. The film highlights a sensitive subject of male infertility in a desi household.

3 – Ghabrana Nahi Hai

Ghabrana Nahi Hai is an upcoming Pakistani desi crime thriller featuring Saba Qamar, Zahid Ahmed, Nayyar Ejaz, Afzal Khan (Rambo), Syed Jibran, Saleem Meraj, Sohail Ahmed, Junaid Akram, Dodi Khan and others. The film is directed by Saqib Khan and follows a love triangle, themes of corruption, debauchery and women being exploited under situations of extreme political pressure.

4 – Chakkar

Chakkar is an upcoming Pakistani murder mystery film produced by Farid Nawaz Productions and directed by Yasir Nawaz, acting in the film. Other stars in the lead role include Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer, with Jawed Sheikh and Danish Nawaz in supporting roles. The film is a mixture of dance and romantic songs composed by Naveed Naushad that will surely entertain you this Eid.
