Sharmeen took the matter to social media, wherein a series of Instagram stories she stated facts and encouraged pregnant women to get vaccinated to survive.
She wrote: “I have spoken to doctors from Multan to Karachi and this is a conversation we must start having on a national level. Pregnant women are nervous about getting vaccinated but what they don’t realize is that they may not survive if they contract covid.”
“We have to push pregnant women to overcome their fears and we must pish gynecologists across the country to encourage the COVID-19 vaccinations. I know 3 women who have died in their 8th month of pregnancy only because they were not vaccianted.”
She further added, “Pregnant women please get vaccinated for you and for your family it is the safest thing to do.”
