Pakistani singer Meesha Shafi is back with her magic to musical December, this time, in collaboration with a musical group called Mughal-e-Funk. Sakal Ban Phool Rahi Sarson is essentially Amir Khusro’s poetry combined with Meesha Shafi’s compelling vocals and Sway Dance Project’s electrifying vocals.
Shafi spoke to a local publication. She said, “Going back to my Sufi, indie music roots with this delicious track and video, making this track and video has given me so much joy! Just like the message of the song. It’s a time to feel alive. To celebrate. To dance. A time to welcome in new beginnings with open arms and an open heart.”
The star has earlier shared a sneak peek of this upcoming collaboration, which got her fans excited. She said,
