Pakistani actress Sajal Aly who is known to not sit down for interviews, finally sat down to speak to the Maliha Rehman of Dawn Images. During the interview, the star revealed crucial information about why her husband Ahad Raza Mir was hurrying to get married.
Ahad and Sajal have not been seen together recently, which of course, has led to rumors that the two are not together at the moment or have separated momentarily. Additionally, the interview further confirms that the current relationship status of Ahad and Sajal is uncertain.
Regardless of that, Aly spoke about the love of her life fondly but of course from the past. She says, “Ahad has talked about me a lot in his past interviews, but, somehow, I’m only doing it now. It’s just that I rarely give interviews, and I worry that if I get asked about Ahad, I’ll end up going on and on!”
How Ahad and Sajal Romance Embarked?
The romance between Ahad and Sajal began when they started working together. Sajal reflects on fond memories from the past. She says, “We had just got engaged when we started working in Aangan together. He had proposed to me and I had told him that he needed to reach out to my family.” She added, “… Ahad’s parents came to Lahore, met my family and we got engaged.”
Why was Ahad in a Hurry?
Sajal has revealed Ahad was in a hurry to tie the knot. She recalled even she herself was thinking why he was in a hurry. She said, “I later asked Ahad why he had been in such a hurry to get engaged. He told me that he had been afraid that, if he didn’t ask me to marry him, he would lose me, and I would marry someone else”.
The two later married in Abu Dhabi before the coronavirus pandemic broke loose in March of 2020.

The first look of Kubra Khan and Sajal Aly for Sinf-e-Aahan, an upcoming women empowerment drama in collaboration with ISPR, is out now. In pictures making rounds on social media, Aly and Khan seem to have clicked what looks like while shooting for the drama. So it isn’t an official reveal. However, we are totally in awe to see these women in Pakistan Army uniforms.
