Social media was taken aback when former Pakistani actress Noor Bhukari shared that had been an attempt to murder in the past.
She revealed this news during an interview with a private news channel. During the interview, she shared that she was always a victim of professional jealousy and that the person/people who had felt that way have tried to get rid of her.
Noor told the channel that she too has been a victim of professional jealousy. Someone even tried to kill her once by paying a light man on the set of a movie she was working on. When she was sitting under the light, someone pushed it on her.
Moreover, she claims that she was saved by her father at the last moment as he was in the showbiz industry and was aware of such things being planned against her.
Old Lollywood has been known for its rivalries and professional jealousies. Actresses, in particular, used to get each other’s roles cut through blackmail and other means, as well as stories about the use of black magic and the industry, were quite common as well.
She also revealed a lot of other things that were not commonly known about her, such as her real name is not Noor, it’s Sara, and her nickname is Sonia (Soniya). She believed a lot in stars a long time ago and an astrologer told her that the name Noor will bring her a lot of luck as a screen name.
The actress bid farewell to the industry in 2017 and announced she will no longer work in dramas or films. She added that the decision comes from tough phases in life that have affected her mental and emotional well-being.
