This weekend, people worldwide celebrated Halloween, the spookiest night of October on the 31st of October. The trend has traveled to Pakistan for the past couple of years, too, even though it is pretty controversial.
For Halloween, there are special parties organized in big cities of Pakistan. People of Pakistan and celebrities show enthusiasm when choosing Halloween costumes. This is where their creative side comes into play. Some opt to dress as a popular character, while others try to pull a fantasy look.
Due to the pandemic, there were no parties in 2020, and quite frankly, we didn’t see many praise-worthy costumes come out of this year’s Halloween either. However, some did catch our attention.
1 – Ushna Shah
Pakistani actress Ushna Shah dressed up as Marilyn Monroe this Halloween. She was possibly the only actress who made an effort and rocked the look. She wrote on her Instagram, “Happy Birthday, Mr. President, And Happy Halloween.”
2 – Eman Suleman and Husband
Model Eman Suleman and her husband’s Halloween outfits were truly creative. They dressed up as a popular Pakistani meme – That’s grape! If you know, you know.
3 – Yasmeen Hashmi
One of the most popular models in the Pakistani media industry, Yaseen Hashmi, got inspired by mother nature and dressed up in a green dress with flowery eyes, hair, and jewelry.
4 – Zainab Raza
Pakistani model Zainab Raza dressed up as a wonder woman this Halloween.
5 – Momina Mustehsan
Pakistani singer Momina Mustehsan also dressed up this Halloween. She wore a set of red pj’s and opted for a scary makeup look.
6 – Sona Rafiq
One of the most popular models in Pakistan these days, Sona Rafiq kept it simple. She wore a black dress and opted to wear Maleficent style baby horns
7 – Hydris Wajihuddin and Wife
Celebrity trainer Hydris Wajihuddin and his wife dressed up as clowns. He captioned the post, “Couple of clowns.”
8 – Anoushey Ashraf
Anoushey Ashraf posted a picture of her on Halloween. The popular host didn’t dress up especially for the occasion but we think this unicorn head mask may just truly represent her, “a unicorn on a scooty in the middle of a living room,” in Lisbon, Portugal.
9 – Talha Yunus
Talha Yunus from Young Stunners was spotted at a Halloween-themed party dressed as Talha Yunus. *Mic drop*
10 – Nabila
Nabila, who often threw great Halloween parties, didn’t dress up for Halloween this time around, but she did post a picture of her dressed up as Marilyn Monroe. Her friends on Instagram lauded her look.
Another throwback, dressed as Madonna. She said on her Instagram, “Wish I could be in #NYC tonight to celebrate Halloween”.
