Ms Marvel has been the talk of the town for a while now. Not only have the desi community around the world been celebrating a Muslim superhero, but the fact that they can finally relate to a popular character on screen makes the experience even more… AWESOME!
So far, we have met the super amazing and talented brown girl from Jersey, Kamala Khan played by Iman Vellani and her family. Moreover, we took a deep dive into her life and met her close friends. At the same time, we have finally seen the first looks of Samina Ahmad, Nimra Bucha, and now Mehwish Hayat.
But, the question on everyone’s mind is… where is Fawad Khan? Back in 2001, during an interview with Indian journalist Anupama Chopra, Khan commented, “In an interview with Film Companion, Fawad was asked if he was a part of Ms Marvel. “Yeah, I am. Woh toh main deny nahi kar sakta, ab toh main jhooth nahi bol sakta, woh toh unhone khud news laga di hai (I can’t deny that or lie about it because they have put out the news themselves).”
Without giving away too many details, Khan did not confirm or deny having bagged a role in the Disney+ series – Ms Marvel, however, he did say that he had a ‘wonderful experience’ shooting for a show.
To quote his exact words, the superstar said:
It’s a wonderful experience, it was good fun. The cast that I worked with, the people that I worked with, it was good fun, but I am sorry, I cannot say anything more than that at this point in time.
As of now, the rumour is that Fawad Khan will be playing Kamala’s great grandfather opposite Mehwish Hayat. Although there is no credibility behind this statement, we do see it happening as Hayat was featured in a similar role.

However, there is no mention of Fawad Khan in the cast list on IMDB which has made us quite sceptical of whether we will see our chocolate boy or not. The only way to find out is to watch all the episodes or wait for the spoilers at least.
