When asked what alternative career he might have pursued, the Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum star humorously shared, “If I wasn’t an actor, my dad would’ve set up a biryani shop for me.”
His lighthearted revelation delighted the audience, and he emphasized, “It’s a true story!” Fahad elaborated by mentioning actor Maham Amir, the wife of his friend Faizan Sheikh, whose family runs a biryani business.
Fahad recounted, “Our families knew each other, so one day, as we were sitting together, her mother explained the ins and outs of the business to me. She even discussed how to portion the meat! So, if I hadn’t become an actor, I truly believe that’s what I would have been doing.”

In response to a playful question about the key ingredients in his hypothetical biryani, Fahad joked, “I’m not sure if there would have been potatoes in it, but choosing that path would definitely have made my life one big potato.”
The show’s host, Mohib Mirza, chimed in, encouraging the audience to be grateful for Fahad’s current career, saying, “Let’s thank God we got Fahad Mustafa instead!” Fahad wrapped up the segment with a laugh, adding, “Why? I would’ve made really good biryani for you all.”
