Farhan Saeed and Aima Baig’s first-ever collaboration together has become the talk of the town. Both have appeared in a single called ‘Na Cher Malangaan Nu’ which was released on the third day of Eid-ul-Adha. The single is written and composed by Bilal Saeed and also produced under this umbrella company called Label One Two Records.
According to Twitter, the similarities between Na Cher Malangaan Nu and Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams are uncanny and were spotted by fans way earlier when the song’s teaser first came out. However, not many people anticipated the similarities to be parallel to such an extent after the song’s release.
Just saw more posts and can’t help but see the similarities…. pic.twitter.com/5meiRA1UEz

Following the release, the makers received criticism. The concept and sets of Taylor’s music video were similar to Na Cher Malangaan Nu’s music video. It sparked a debate on social media of whether the video is a copyright violation or mere overstepping of the term “Inspiration” often used by directors to justify their work.
Na Cher Malangaan Nu’s music video director Adnan Qazi earlier on also took it to his Instagram to prove that he was inspired and felt great ‘love and passion for American singer Taylor Swift’s music videos and that ‘Na Cher…’ was his ‘tribute to Taylor & her videos’. To clear the issue, the music video also credit’s Taylor Swifts music video maker, Joseph Kahn.
Someone on Twitter also pointed it out
It's not Uncredited. The director of the video has clearly mentioned that this video is a tribute. Do check his post on Instagram. Thank you 🙂 pic.twitter.com/wF40piFWl0

Joseph Kahn said on Twitter: “Lol cool, Hi Pakistan” after discovering the music video online
Idk what’s wrong with getting inspiration from anyone. The director has clearly mentioned the credits, he has created this out of love for Taylor. We would call it a copy or any issue if no credits were given. COME ON!!!

While the music video makers are certainly being called out for similarities, the song is still being appreciated by many. On YouTube, the views have reached 2 M in two days, breaking a record.
