Karachi has finally opened restaurant dine-outs, marriage halls, schools, and universities after the COVID-19 cases have significantly dropped in the city. The government of Pakistan is encouraging people over 18 years of age to get vaccinated, however, not everyone is up for it for various reasons.
Many people wish to continue living as it was before the pandemic and have gotten the vaccine. These people are actively advocating the usage of vaccines so people around them feel responsible enough and do what is safe for everyone.
While it is a thoughtful movement, more can be done to entice people to get vaccinated. Admin of famous ladies only group in Pakistan, Rabeeya feels that restaurants should only allow fully vaccinated people in or maybe there should be some perks to being vaccinated vs not being vaccinated.
I feel like restaurants should only allow fully vaccinated people to come that way people are more inclined to doing it. There should be some perks to being vaccinated vs not vaccinated.

Across the globe, in fact, this has been a great way to make people get the vaccine. For instance, Krispy Kreme last week gave away free doughnuts to those people who showed they’ve received a COVID-19 vaccine. Canadian companies have been offering freebies, discounts to vaccinated customers only.
In May, VOX published a story titled “Beers, flights, and discounts: The growing list of vaccine freebies” that revealed how big brands are ready to reward people if they do the right thing. Similarly, Pakistani restaurants and brands can follow in the footsteps of international brands and reward vaccinated people for being sound citizens.
1 – Restaurants can give discounts and maybe introduce ‘happy hour’
2 – Only vaccinated people allowed to redeem certain deals at stores
3 – Free coffee for vaccinated people on Sundays at cafes
4 – Entrance to mall limited to people who are vaccinated
5 – Limited vaccinated individual allowed inside theatres
