Pakistan Television (PTV) is currently airing the famous Turkish series Diriliş( Resurrection) Ertuğrul. The series began streaming from April 25th, the first day of Ramzan and netizens just cannot stop talking about it.
Dubbed in Urdu, the series has been aired at the request of our Prime Minister Imran Khan. Diriliş( Resurrection) Ertuğrul, is the story of the Ottoman Empire focusing on the life of Ertuğrul, a 13th -century Muslim Oghuz Turk and the father of Osman I who is considered the founder of the Ottoman Empire.
The first season of Diriliş: Ertuğrul was released in 2014. There are five seasons with 179 episodes in total.
However, only one season has been dubbed and aired in Pakistan but it has already established itself as one of the best and most watch series of the year.
This highly popular series has inspired a number of Pakistani celebrities who cannot stop talking about it. It’s episodes were trending in Pakistan on PTV Home’s YouTube channel achieving a subscriber base of 2.1 million in just 20 days.
