Furthermore, age limits are also set for these roles, making it challenging for older actresses like her to secure roles in the industry.
In contrast to the international media industry, which produces stories on various subjects and people of different ages, the Pakistani media industry focuses solely on love stories and tends to portray actors who are older than their characters.
Mahnoor Baloch believes that people’s perceptions are changing, and the industry should adapt to this new outlook. She emphasized that even if the hero is 55 years old, he should not look old and that people’s thinking has changed, and they no longer accept it.
