Superstar Shahid Afridi’s eldest daughter Ansha Afridi is to tie the knot with fast bowler Shaheen Afridi. The couple is said to receive their vows and officially become one on 3rd February 2023.
Last year, Shahid Afridi shared that Shaheen’s family approached him for his daughter’s proposal and that both families are in contact. He also added that matches are made in heaven and if it’s Allah’s will, this match will be made as well.
A few months following this news, Lala confirmed that his family had accepted the proposal of the speedster for his daughter, Ansha Afridi. However, he said that his daughter was preoccupied with her studies and aspires to be a doctor.
The all-rounder added that Shaheen had no relationship with his daughter before the decision of their engagement from both parties, but it was accepted as he is also a member of the Afridi tribe.
Fans have been eagerly looking forward to the date when star fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will tie the knot with Shahid Afridi’s daughter since the announcement of their engagement.
When Boom Boom was asked in June of 2022 about the marriage, he replied, “I would like her to get married soon because she is much trouble for me.”
Shahid Afridi then added that the marriage might take place next year because Ansha has decided to continue her studies. However, the final decision will be made by Shaheen and Ansha as the elders have left the matter to them.
Earlier, this year in July while answering a question about his engagement with Ansha, Afridi, the star bowler had said: “It was my wish and Alhumdulillah it is fulfilled now.”
“I met her and will meet her soon. I found my heart and that’s enough for me,” remarked Shaheen Afridi while answering a question about getting engaged at an early age.
The host further asked Afridi if his fiancé gets jealous of his female fan following, to which he replied, “I am not sure, maybe she feels something like that.”
