British-Pakistani actress and model, Sabeeka Imam pointed out on social media that Azaan Sami Khan‘s casting in the much anticipated upcoming drama serial Ishq-E-Laa is done on the basis of his luck aka privilege.
Today, when there are limited projects being produced in the industry, it is difficult to score a role in dramas being produced by big production houses. So, it is obvious that when someone who has zero onscreen experience gets chosen, it doesn’t go unnoticed. In the drama, actresses, Sajal Aly and Yumna Zaidi are also casted in prominent roles.
Imam took it to the micro-blogging site and wrote in a tweet: “So it seems like you need zero onscreen acting experience and you could also debut with both the AMAZING Yumna and Sajal. Mujhe bhi itni hi achi LUCK chahiye where I don’t have to earn it or prove myself first & it just gets handed to me on a plate!”

Basically, it is quite competitive to be able to score a spot alongside exceptional actresses such as Sajal Aly, and Yumna Zaidi for other actors in the industry.
And Aaan Sami Khan got the role without any past acting experience on the screen which doesn’t sit right with some people.
While the teaser of the show is not out yet, the pictures appearing on social media of the cast members are generating headlines.
Ishq-E-Laa is directed by Amin Iqbal, is written by Qaisra Hayat, and produced by Momina Duraid Productions. The show will be coming soon to Hum tv, most likely later this year.
