One of the world’s most renowned brands, Prada, has launched an abaya-inspired collection. The creative mind behind this collection is Miuccia Prada who has a knack for combining modern and traditional styles.
Moreover, 20% of the proceeds are set to go toward a Qatar Museums fund to support its flourishing creative industry.
Reportedly, a dedicated Prada installation for the Qatar Museums project will stand inside the fashion house’s new store in the Doha Place Vendôme mall.
Furthermore, the collection is made from re-nylon piuma, taffeta, or technical pongee and is available in different colours including black, laurel green, blue, and sand.
They are complemented with elegant silk twill scarves with a small, all-over triangular pattern and a triangle brooch to accessorize the scarf.

Prada is not the only renowned brand to announce such a collection. Dolce and Gabbana revealed their first hijab and abaya collection back in 2016.
According to style.com, the collection was made from sheer georgette and satin weave charmeuse fabrics and was laced at the hems.
