Times Higher Education (THE), a London-based higher education magazine that comes out weekly, has finally ranked World Universities 2021 based on the subject. THE is UK’s leading magazine in its field.
The magazine compiles its rankings under 11 subjects: business and economics, computer sciences, psychology, physical sciences, engineering and technology, social sciences, law, education, life sciences, clinical and health, and arts and humanities.
Many universities in Pakistan have made it to the list under seven subject rankings. Let’s have a look:
Computer Sciences
Engineering & Technology
Social Sciences
Business & Economics
Physical Sciences

Clinic & Health
In total, Pakistan has 200 or more public and private institutes. Some of these institutes came into being when Pakistan was first founded. The government of that time built many universities to provide necessary facilities for the recently established country particularly in science and engineering. Even today, most universities focus on medicine, science, and technology.
