Pakistani scientist, Shazia Sadiq has received an international commendation for her innovative STEM research. Due to her progress, she has been selected for an advanced scientific research project by The Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE).
Shazia Sadiq – a teacher and an associate in data and knowledge engineering research group
Sadiq currently teaches and administers research on database and information systems in the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering based in Australia. Apart from teaching, she works in data and knowledge engineering research group.
Senator Faisal Javed Khan praised her accomplishment on Twitter: He wrote, “Congratulations to Shazia Sadiq – Pakistan’s computer scientist for getting recognized by the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE) for her innovative STEM research.”

Shazia Sadiq’s Accomplishments
Shazia Sadiq’s commendable work focused on processing information effectively by developing a Business Information Systems solution. Her research will assist the sectors of business process management, governance, risk and compliance data.
Educational Background
Shazia Sadiq has received her PhD in Information Systems from the University of Queensland. She has also completed her Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand.
