Pakistani Actor Nadia Jamil Opens Up About Adopting a Child

Pakistani actor Nadia Jamil has been an inspiration to women not only across the country but also the world. The cancer survivor has been sharing her tough yet inspiring story on social media, and man, are we PROUD! Recently, the Balu Mahi actress opened up about what it means to become a mother through the process of adoption.

While sharing her sentiments for her adopted daughter Nuri, she penned that adoption is a wonderful way to have a child. Moreover, she added that the process is tougher than biological birthing because it is extremely nerve-wracking, longer, the assessments and interviews are super hard and moreover, a parent needs to be able to provide security and financial security to the child which is also a tough job.

She tweeted;

Adoption is a wonderful way 2 hv a child.I found it a tougher “Labour”process 2 go through than biological birthing.Nerve wracking assessments/waiting! Imagine if biological parents were interviewed/checked 4 maturity,parenting skills,financial security & dedication the same way!

She further wrote that she is highly privileged and is thrilled to have her daughter Nuri as a part of her family.

When a Twitter user pointed out that adopted children are not eligible for inheritance, the actor said, “Who needs an inheritance when she can be gifted everything in my lifetime? “All children are a blessing,” said another netizen, adding that there is more than one way to have a child.
