Imran Khan’s views on sexual violence and rape have been criticized around the world. Many local and international publications covered his remarks. Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi came to his rescue and shared his opinion on the matter in a series of tweets, but it looks like even he couldn’t save the premier this time.

He said in a tweet: “Random thought: In my personal understanding, God has made it clear in the Quran that sexual instinct is one of the most powerful instincts in both men and women. Hence, God emphasizes on overall modesty and responsible behavior from both men and women, equally, in this particular area.”

He later quoted the same verse from Quran as Jemima that no matter what anyone is dressed like or behaves like, unconditionally lower your gaze & guard your own modesty.

He then tweeted again with another verse from the Quran that emphasized that those who love to spread indecency will suffer a painful punishment.

Currently, Hamza Ali Abbasi is busy writing a book and also making videos on YouTube discussing various topics related to religion
