Pakistan’s own veteran Lollywood actress Meera Jee has taken over the streets of New York City to raise funds for the victims of the floods in Pakistan.
The Baaji star performed in front of hundreds of individuals at Times Square to raise awareness and an amount through her noble gesture.
Meera Jee is one of the many celebrities in and out of the country who are contributing to the cause along with the citizens of the nation.
Meera made a sincere request to her fans and Muslims all around the world to donate and save countless lives who are in dire need of aid.
She wrote:
Today I performed in New York to raise money for flood victims. My sincere request to Muslims everywhere is as follows: “Please let’s join hands and work towards this jointly. Being an artist and the most sensitive element of the society, I am willing to perform for flood victims anywhere in the world as long as at least one bereaved family is able to have a roof over their heads.I am grateful to the dignified chief organizer Ayesha Ali and all the other organizers of the Brooklyn fund raising event for the special invitation and providing me with the opportunity to participate in this noble cause.
