Pakistan’s ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s grandson, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, and Captain Muhammad Safdar Awan’s son Junaid Safdar tied the knot with the head now-defunct Ehtesaab Bureau, Saif-ur-Rehman’s daughter Ayesha Saif Khan in London. The nikah ceremony took place at The Lanesborough in an expensive 5-star hotel on the Hyde Park Corner in Knightsbridge.
The pictures from the event were circulating on social media since Monday. There was ample gossip about Junaid’s good looks and, of course, the bride who chose to wear an Indian designer, Sabyasachi’s bridal lehenga. Many also turned wedding pictures into memes which also included Nawaz Sharif. All in all, people were sympathetic with Maryam Nawaz and her husband as they weren’t allowed to leave the country and so attended the wedding on a video call.
A clip of Junaid singing at his nikkah event followed by many pictures went viral very quickly because of Junaid’s soulful voice. When the performer gave the mic to Junaid, we weren’t expecting him to be phenomenal. However, we were surprised by his hidden talent.

Junaid sang ‘Kia Hua Tera Wada’ by the late Mohammad Rafi to his friends and family. His vocals earned the praise of many Pakistani celebrities and also internet users.
