Jemima Goldsmith has reacted to the Anti-Imran Khan protest targeting her children on social media. For Jemima, it seems as if history is repeating itself.
She took it to the microblogging site to express how she feels like she is back in Lahore in the 90s following IK’s oust. She wrote, “Protests outside my house, targeting my children, antisemitic abuse on social media…. It’s almost like I’m back in 90s Lahore.”

Pakistani Journalist Hamid Mir replied to the tweet, saying, “PTI must stop protesting outside the house of Nawaz Sharif in London, and PML-N should not do the same outside the house of Jemima Goldsmith those who live in glass houses should not throw stones on others. ”
Jemima responded by saying, “With respect, The difference is that I have got nothing to do with Pakistani politics, and neither have my children. They are low-key private individuals who are not even on social media.”

The opposition has, over the years, targeted Khan’s first marriage and his kids. In July 2021, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said in one of her jalsas targeted Imran Khan and Jemima Goldsmith’s kids. She said they are “being raised in the lap of the Jews. ”
Jemima has time and again pointed out how she is no longer affiliated with Pakistan or its politics. She wrote, “I left Pakistan in 2004 after a decade of antisemitic attacks by the media & politicians (& weekly death threats & protests outside my house). But still, it continues. “

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, married Jemima Goldsmith in 1995. The two parted ways in 2004 after 9 years of marriage. They have two children together, “Sulaiman Isa Khan and Kasim Khan.”
