Just a couple of days ago, renowned Bollywood filmmaker and television personality Karan Johar was in hot waters for ‘copying’ Pakistani crooner Abrar-ul-Haq’s iconic track ‘Nach Punjaban’ for his recent title ‘Jug Jug Jiyo’.
After things escalated on social media, K-Jo finally gave credit to Abrar for being the original owner of the track. However, Abrar-ul-Haq shared that he will be pursuing legal actions against the team.
Yet again, another Bollywood title has been accused by social media of ‘copying’ a Pakistani movie. Reportedly Akshay Kumar’s latest project titled ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is a copy of Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat’s ‘Load Wedding’.
Both movies are based on a common man’s struggle to gather ‘jahaiz‘ or dowery for their sister. In this case, Akshay is a brother of 4 ladies whereas Fahad had one sister who he looked after.
