On Sunday, a notice was issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in which they announced the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program for Pakistani students. Another great effort made by HEC for students of Pakistan as after the pandemic, more and more students will not be able to pay their tuition fees for higher education.
The program is managed by HEC Pakistan in collaboration with the Tempus public foundation, Hungary.
4 Kinds of Fully-funded Scholarships are available under this program:
1 – Bachelor’s after 12 years of education
2 – One-Tier Master’s after 12 years of education
3 – Master’s after 16 years of education
4 – Ph.D. studies after 17/18 years of education
The education commission’s notice further said that the Hungarian government had extended the Stipendium scholarship program’s invitation to nationals of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan. The announcement states, “The program is managed by HEC Pakistan in collaboration with the Tempus Public Foundation, Hungary.”

Important Details to Remember If You are Considering to Apply:
1 – The deadline for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program is 15th January 2021. Candidates must fulfill all formalities deemed necessary before the deadline.
2 – Candidates must apply to BOTH online applications: HEC and the Hungarian website individually.

Reportedly, the Director Colleges Sargodha division Prof. Muhammad Ahmed Sial has recognized the HEC department’s efforts for introducing beneficial changes in the department of education in Punjab. Sial asked the heads of institutions to perform their professional duties diligently.
