A 24-year-old Data Engineer from Punjab, has been employed by Google. Originally from Sadiqabad, Punjab, Shafiqa graduated from Punjab University in 2010.
Iqbal is also a Global Ambassador of the Women in Tech Network, a Big Data Engineer at Google, and a top-rated seller on Upwork.
Moreover, she’s also adept in back-end programming (including cloud solutions), back-end database migrations, and ETL pipelines. In order to help organizations throughout the world, she created scalable and dispersed solutions.
Google reached out to her over LinkedIn after she’d been out of the workforce for about two and a half years. From LinkedIn, the interview process began, and she was hired for the position.
In her final interview with Google, she said that the internet was down when she was being asked questions during the closing statements and that the meeting blacked out as a result. However, the interviewer was unconcerned about it and stated that no one should ever disparage their own abilities.
Companies like Google and Facebook add value to open-source contributions, according to Shafiqa. To be self-sufficient, she picked the field and worked her way up to become a top-notch employee at a high-ranking corporation like Google.
The 24-year-old Data Engineer is an official Google employee in Warsaw, Poland. Furthermore, she is the only Pakistani among 1300 other employees based in the Poland office.
