Dutch hockey coach Siegfried Aikman set a new example by fasting while the players fast.
It is always overwhelming to see foreigners/people from other religions respecting those who are fasting and not eating in front of them. The Dutch coach of the Pakistan hockey team went ahead the extra mile and is fasting from sunrise to sunset, just like the players are, during the month of Ramadan. He plans to fast for the first week of Ramadan to experience the true zeal of this holy month.
Enjoying Ramadan and Learning A lot About Myself
In a tweet, the coach posted a picture of what looks like him enjoying his sehri; he wrote, “Day 3 of Ramadan and still fasting. Today I chooses a. Hot breakfast, and hopefully that will guide me better trough the day. No hunger and thirst. Enjoy Ramadan and learning a lot about myself.”
