Dubai has introduced the newest attraction, ‘Sky View Observatory,’ featuring a glass slide suspended 52 floors above the ground.
There’s always something new to do or experience in Dubai! In the latest development, a ‘Sky View Observatory’ has opened that features two fun activities for now. The breathtaking ‘Glass Slide’ is suspended 52 floors above the ground and ‘The Walk on the Edge.’
Glass Slide is self-explanatory – you can slide on the glass while enjoying the views. However, The Walk on the Edge’ is a little daunting. You can walk along the edge of the building with no barriers, an observatory with a 25-meter long glass-bottom walkway, and experience the best views of the Burj Khalifa / Downtown Dubai.
How Much Does it Cost?
All experiences in Dubai come with a price tag, of course. The Sky Glass slide is included in the admission fee to the Sky Observatory. Adults will have to pay Dhs 70, while kids between the age of three to sixteen will be charged Dhs 60. You can visit anytime between 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., visit the Observatory and Glass Slide.
Sunset occurs between 4 and 6:30 p.m. in Dubai, so the admission fee is a little higher between these hours. For adults, it is Dhs 90 when the sunsets, and for kids, it is Dhs 70.
While the glass slide doesn’t cost a lot, the ticket for ‘The Sky Edge Walk’ is for Dhs 704. This also includes a safety briefing as well as all necessary equipment. The Edge Walk will be accessible from 2 pm to 8 pm.
Something Exciting is in the Works
An American diner, Panorama 52, is also gearing up to set up in the first quarter of next year. In the near future, guests will be able to enjoy casual comfort meals while looking down on spectacular city views.
