Bollywood’s most cherished actress, Deepika Padukone’s fans, woke up with a surprise this morning. Why was that so? All celebrities tend to leave a new year message for fans; Padukone also left her fans a message. However, this year her new year greeting was considerably different. The 34-year-old star deleted all her previous posts from Instagram and Twitter and left an audio message for her fans.

The audio clip starts with Deepika saying,
“Hi everyone, welcome to my audio diary, a record of my thoughts and feelings.”
She continued saying, “2020 was a year of uncertainty for everybody. For me, the year was also about gratitude and about being present. As for 2021, all I can wish for is good health and peace of mind, “Happy New Year.”

The message ended quickly without any explanation as to what caused the star to delete all her posts. Fans speculate if the Bajirao Mastani star will ever post back on these platforms since she has a huge following. Regardless, it looks like the star will be uploading more audio messages throughout the year instead of her usual updates from the world of glamour and drama.

What Caused Her to Delete All the Posts?
While we don’t know what caused this, we know Deepika has had previously struggled with depression and has been vocal about it on multiple occasions. The audio messages might be another form of habit she is forming to fight it in 2021. After all, the previous year was harsh for all of us, including celebrities. In India, Padukone is the Live Love Laugh Foundation founder, which creates awareness of mental health.
