The daughter of prominent politicians Asif Zardari and late Benazir Bhutto, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, has revealed his first-born son Mir Hakim Mahmood Chaudhry today on Instagram.
Sources reveal that Bakhtawar and Mahmood Choudhry have set their son’s name to pay tribute to her late grandfather Hakim Ali Zardari and late uncle Mir Murtaza Bhutto.
Bakhtawar announced the news of the baby’s arrival in October. She wrote on Twitter while tagging husband Mehmood Choudhry, “We are happy to announce the birth of our baby boy.” The couple welcomed the baby boy on the 10th of October but announced it official a day later on social media.
At the time, he was born before the due date of Nov 8th and was in NICU’ getting stronger every day’.

They were later discharged from the hospital on Oct 17th. Bakhtawar said on Twitter, “Finally home settling in with our baby boy”. She added, “Thank you for all your messages, love and prayers”.

Like all parents, Bakhtawar has also been busy setting up his spaces in the house. She shared an image of her son’s library, which has books on his late grandmother. She captioned the post, “Working on his library collection.”
Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari tied the knot in January 2021 to a Dubai-based businessman Mahmood Choudhry. The Nikkah Ceremony of Bakhtawar and Mahmood was held on the 29th of January, and the Valima ceremony on the 30th of January.
Before tying the knot, the duo got engaged 2 months ago, in November last year, in an intimate ceremony. The buzz around the engagement ceremony was surreal, and even the invitations card went viral on social media.
Chairperson, Bilawal Bhutto wasn’t able to attend the engagement ceremony, as he contracted COVID-19.
