Sana Safinaz’s latest summer campaign MAHAY’s concept, has become the latest topic of discussion.
An image from the brand’s latest summer campaign showcasing women dressed in Afghani style burqas made out of unstitched cloth has caught our attention. The concept behind this image is ‘wear your attire as it pleases you”.
The brand wants to make its unstitched cloth its consumer’s canvas so they can showcase their freedom. Everyone has the right to express themselves the way they want to. Sana Safinaz embodies this concept with its latest collection.
A Beautiful Concept Indeed
The photo was captioned, “Stitch these designs not with needles but with the threads of your mind and your soul. Weave them with the intricacies of your heart and your courage. Let our collection be an extension of you – the essence of your resilience and your beauty. Your clothes, your choice, and your celebration of life in an elegant and affordable way.”
Here is how people reacted on Instagram:
“This is a beautiful concept, actually. Islam shows how a modest woman should dress up. And anyway, this is a part of our long-gone culture when our ancestral women used to wear burqa. Sana Safinaz, your concept of wear a dress how it may please you is a good idea. Much appreciated,” wrote a user on Instagram.
“I am speechless. What is this??? Just doesn’t make sense to me”, wrote another user
“Nun in the veil”, commented someone.
“Asa lagta hai k lawan k fareshty agayeee”, said a user.
