In recent developments, 4 Pakistani students have topped in different subjects of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams held in the last month of 2021. The news comes in as a piece of encouragement for the future ACCA exam takers and makes the country a global powerhouse for world-class ACCA talent.
As details revealed, Arham Ali and Usama Maharir from Pakistan’s city Lahore have topped the Maintaining Financial Records and Managing Costs & Finance exams. Karachi’s Komal Bawani and Peshawar’s Umair Jan beat all global candidates in the Management Function exam and the Recording Financial Transactions exam.
The Head of ACCA Pakistan, Assad Hameed Khan, said in a statement, “In recent years, Pakistani students have consistently won worldwide ACCA exams, making the country a global powerhouse for world-class ACCA talent.” Khan then commended the students for putting in their hard work and persisting in the tradition of beating their fellows throughout the world.
Previously, in April of 2021, results of students who gave exams in March 2021 came out, and 3 Pakistani students aced their exams and topped different subjects of the ACCA. The Audit and Assurance and Financial Reporting exams were topped by Karachi’s Kahaf Moid and Ali Shan, whereas Fakiha Masood from Faisalabad topped the Advanced Taxation exam.
In 2020, two Pakistani students also surpassed their fellows in the global ACCA exams. Zara Naeem from Karachi topped the Financial Reporting exam held in December 2020. Muhammad Abdullah had topped the Strategic Business Reporting exam held in September 2020.
