A six-year-old girl, Maysam Yahya Mohamed, has successfully memorized Quran and become the youngest Hafidah from UAE.
She also recited the holy book with proper pronunciation with Tajweed. The little girl has achieved prominence in the country as the country’s youngest person to have memorized the entire Holy Quran. At age 3, she memorized 2 chapters of the Holy Quran.
In UAE’s city, Sharjah, the Sharjah Foundation established the Tahfiz sessions for kids, which Maysam attended. This is where her journey towards reciting and memorizing the Holy Quran began.
Maysam’s mother was questioned by international publications about how her daughter managed to memorize the Quran at such a young age. She said, “My daughter began memorizing the Quran when she was three years old, thanks to Tahfiz sessions organized by the Sharjah Foundation for the Quran and Sunnah in mosques.” To further help her daughter out, the family followed up with her Quran lessons at home by reviewing and re-reading her materials.
At the age of 3, Maysam was doing better during her lessons. She then participated in Sheikh Zayad Holy Quran Competition. She managed to attain 7th place in the competition. She was stated as the youngest child to participate in the competition.
She has also been awarded the Dubai International Holy Quran Award. The Dubai International Holy Quran is an Institute that conducts a lot of Islamic programs and conducts competitions. The Holy Quran Radio also honored the six-year-old for her achievements.

However, Rawan Dweik’s mother, Awatef Jaber, revealed how her daughter succeeded in accomplishing this goal while having a special health condition.
