First on the list is Rosemary, starring Mia Farrow, the film centres her learning that she is expecting under abnormal conditions and her developing concern that a cult is seeking her baby. The film has many accolades under its belt. It got selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry.
2. The Exorcist
The Exorcist is probably the scariest film I have ever seen! This film is not for the faint-hearted. In the film, a 12-year-old girl is possessed by a mysterious entity or entities. To get her back, her mother seeks help from two priests. The film has been rated 8/10 on IMDb.

Black Swan was released in 2010 and had left many puzzled. The film has its fair share of scare jumps; however, no other entities involved. It is about a committed dancer who struggles to sustain her mental health after she won the lead role in a production of Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake”. The film has been rated 8/10 on IMDB.
5. The Silence of the Lambs
Another film that does not involve a ghost! This film follows a young F.B.I. agent who receives the help of an imprisoned and persuasive man-eater to help find another serial criminal. Overall, the film is a great watch! IMDB: 8.6/10
6. Hereditary
Definitely, a film to watch with your friends this spooky season! Ari Aster directs the film. The narrative is about Graham family and ancestor Annie as they continue to endure tragedy after tragedy in their seemingly cursed family.

Definitely, a fun movie to watch! Rated 6.8/10 on IMDb. The narrative of this film is rather unusual. It is about a bride’s wedding night that takes a disastrous turn when her unconventional new in-laws seize her to take part in a terrifying competition.
