The United Kingdom’s Brain Trust has honoured Pakistan’s Sania Alam with the title of ‘Brain of the Year.’ The prize distribution and ceremony were held on Saturday 4th Feb in Soho, London.
Sania Alam received this honour for her contributions to advancing global mental literacy and enhancing education through super-learning.
Belonging to the Pakistani Futuristic Learning Institute, Alam has won various prizes and distinctions including the Youth Excellence Award from Shehbaz Sharif for her contributions. She also received the Lifetime Achievement Award from US President Joe Biden in 2021.
Reportedly, Alam is the second Pakistani to win this coveted award which is awarded to those who advance global mental health through research, support and funding for individuals and organisations which promote mind-improving and healing activities and initiatives.
Taking to Twitter, Sania Alam wrote: “I am honoured to be declared ‘Brain of the Year 2023/2024’ by Brain Trust U.K. for my services in the field of education and for playing a vital role in unlocking the potential of the human brain.”

The Brain Trust was founded in 1990 by the inventor of Mind Maps, Tony Buzan.
Previously, Pakistani author & thought leader Arif Anis was voted ”Brain of the Year 2020” by Brain Trust UK. Each year the “Brain of the Year Trophy” is presented as the highest accolade from the Brain Trust. Arif Anis was voted as the winning contender, as a result of his thoughtfulness and outstanding achievements during the coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19) in assisting the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) with the genius million-meal project.
